Terrible hours, what bank doesn't open until 10 on business days!? Their drive thru doesn't open until 10 either. They don't stock deposit slips so the night drop is useless. Their loan department sucks, I had to call them continuously to check on the progress. read more

I have banked with Alaska USA for over 20 years and they have been very good to us in the past and have had several loans with them. My favorite part of this bank was the way there old bill pay was user friendly and reliable and I could count on them and never worried about my bills. I could set up my monthly bills and they were always paid on time. Now they have this new bill pay which is not user friendly and many of my bills have been late due to the fact they started mailing out checks on the due date and not depositing them electronic like before. My house payment due on the first didn't get there check until the 9th. My electric bill Check mailed on the due date also, was returned back to them due to the fact they didn't send it to a correct address which they had for years. I found out with a email it was returned but not before I realized it was now over 5 days past due and close to being shut off. I have never been late will my bills and this upsets me. Now if I want to keep bill pay with them I have to redo all the e-bills passwords and try to figure their not so user friendly system. Just not worth it anymore. What sucks about this is even after I moved to Florida I refused to change credit unions because I loved Alaska USA. The credit union I work at which is a shared branching credit union allowed me to continually use Alaska USA easily. I didn't Use my account at campus as my main account or their bill pay because I was happy and liked the way everything was set up already with Alaska USA. I will now switch credit unions because bill pay at campus USA is the old bill pay that Alaska USA had which is user friendly and reliable. Husband is probably going to transfer his Direct deposit paychecks to campus since we feel we can no longer rely on Alaska USA. Why in the world they had to change something that was working so well is beyond me???? Very disappointed!! read more
