This is half the price for my 2 year old laptop!! Outrageous!! John at Inverness Computer Centre fixed it for £70! Brilliant!! Apparently the metal case shorted out the electrics and this has happened to other metal cased Dell's. So shame on Dell and a massive big thanks to John and the team at Inverness Computer Centre.
