I can support the other reviewer that they don't separate the recycle. On at least 3 occasions in two months they skipped us, assured us they'd pick it up on trash day. And that's where it went. Then they used our drive to turn around every week. We realized this when they put the truck in the ditch (requiring a tow truck) and broke off the edge of the drive, also putting a hold in the drive where the back of the truck balanced. Avoid at all costs. They constantly take days off and find other excuses not to get your trash. You'll still pay though.

Don't believe the promises made by this unreliable company. They'll tell you anything to get you to sign up, then their standards of service take a nosedive. i explained that our private road was messy in inclement weather but was told pickup trucks could be dispatched in the event of snow. We paid a year in advance and this is the fourth time our garbage hasn't been picked up in two-week-long spans. Our garbage piles up and all our neighbors' haulers have no problem making their appointed rounds. One of our neighbors, a police officer, tells us that he's seen the Global drivers pull to the side of the road in the woods down from our property to hang out. And relieve themselves. read more

Have been using Global for about a year now an for the most part I have no complaints. They are reliable to pick up and pick up as much garbage or recycling* as you leave out. My only issue here is whether they actually recycle or not. One morning they were running late with their pickups and I happened to be outside when they arrived. All my recyclables and cardboard/paper went into their garbage truck along with my household garbage. I called to complain and they told me it was a scheduling and training issue as they had a new employee. However the garbage men seemed pretty routine as they combined all the recyclables with the trash on the same truck, it's pretty obvious that was not the right thing to do. Which makes me think this happens quite often. Unfortunately they usually pick up at about 5am so I cannot verify this on a weekly basis. If you value recycling and knowing your trash is being handled responsibly this may not be the best sanitation company for you. read more

Don't use this trashy trash company! They skiped my trash twice already, and they dont have any problem lying to your face over the phone about picking it up the day after, or about calling you back once they contact their driver! They have a culture of lying, like a group of teenage kids..very disturbing group of unprofessional people.. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this company...very very very disappointed with all of them!!! Back in October/September they had missed weeks of pick up and i called the office and they would make promises to call back to let us know what happen and never would get a phone call back...so would call again and was promised it wouldn't happen again and we would be credited for the issue. Well it happened again no pick up no credit given!!! finally got another garbage company and called on November 1st to pick up dumpster and it stills sits on my property...numerous phone calls and my husband even spoke to the owner and have been promised 2x it would be picked up!!! Still sits on my property...called again this morning and manager was very rude and stated that they have been busy trying to get dumpsters to people that want to be there customers!!! Reallly!!!!! I was your customer until you decided to think it was okay for your driver not to pick up our garbage and you still wanted and did get paid!! so other words I guess we are being punished for leaving there company so I have to continue to look at a full dumpster in my yard!! Gee, I read the negative reviews and I guess I got lucky.... I've got three words for all y'all: Single Stream Recycling. Everything--cans, glass, paper, etc.--in one container. Sweet.... We did get off to a rocky start, though. They missed a few days each of recycling and garbage pickup, but that was in the beginning and they've been flawless since.... It took around four months before I got my groovy pink rolling trashcan. That was a bit of a drag, but it was almost worth the thrill when it finally appeared.... Customer service is very cool--apologetic and they tell you when the problem will be solved.... Regarding other reviewer complaints: I honestly don't care where they pull over or what they do there--pee, hang out, phone their bookies, whatever. And as far as what happens with the recycling, I always see the appropriate truck take it.... But ya know, I'd be willing to put up with a lot in exchange for SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING! Heck, guys, you can even pee on my property, just not on the rose bushes. read more
