The beds by the water (adults only area) are free but most days they are taken by 7.00. ALTHOUGH…read moreour 2 last days there were 2 unoccupied beds even at 8.30. We usually woke up at 6, took the beds and than went back to sleep until 8-9.
12 € for a balinese bed in all areas/day.
15 € balinese bed and 2 mojitos/day
19 € balinese bed, 2 drinks and a plate of mixed sushi/day.
12 € 50's Diner/person.
All bars close at 23:00
Many drinks are not included in All inclusive, those cost 5€ each for All inclusive members and 10€ for non all inclusive.
The beer served here is Estrella.
In the restaurants you have 3 tap-wines to choose from. Red,White and Rose.
There is always juices available.
There is a really cozy bar super near the hotel, it's behind SPAR (a supermarket with 3 aisles with crisps) at that bar a mojito costs 6€.
At SPAR you'll find loads of cheap liquor, better than at the taxfree.
At the south bar lunch is included in All Inclusive and is very nicely served.
There is an ice cream at every bar, in a cone, on a stick and sandwich.
In the restaurant the ice cream is in a lil plastic cup and you can choose topping.
There isn't a great variety of food. Half the buffee table is taken up by the pasta and pizza that is always the same. But the rest of the table has different food quite often!
There is sushi once a week, It's is not at all alike the good good one I have back at home in Swedish restaurants but you know...It's okay. (They use smoked salmon on the sushi lol)
There are picnic boxed you can order (free) the day before your trip, there is a vegetarian option.
The food is worth the money ALTHOUGH not for a vegetarian.
If you are a vegetarian I would not recommend this so much..you could find something ALOT better, there is basically no source of protein. What you get is fried brocolli, grilled peppar and zuccini, stewed vegetables, eggs, some cheese, 1 vegetarian soup per meal and like peas and corn. One a week there is a vegetarian paella , other days it's with meat. That's all folks!
In the South restaurant there is exactly one vegetarian option on the menu: Grilled vegetables.
Although I made them give me some fries with cheddar dip(it wasn't on the manu but I am not here to starve)
If you are vegan you'll just starve.
The staff in the main restaurant, in the Flower Power and 50's restaurant are super nice, they have a true feeling for good service. Nice people and that part I loved.
WATCH OUT FOR BRAULIO. Braulio works in the South restaurant and sometimes at the 50's Diners. He sure fits in the 50 era because women just does not get acknowledged. You're not trash, you're just nothing. Thin air!
During your stay (if you are female) you will just never get to order, never get an Hi! and never even catch eye contact.
At first I found it funny, me and my boyfriend joked about how ridicilous it was, than we both began to recognize it in a bigger scale. He literally did that to every woman. By the end of our 2 week vacation I just snapped and went to the reception to tell them that. The response I got was " Maybe he's old fashioned". Well don't work with service if you're that old fashioned, you can't just ignore people on their vacation. It's is very much part of his job to provide a nice service to ALL people. Like dude, what if I was a lesbian on vacation....you need to show respect toward everyone.
Anyways Braulio is the worst.
The entertainment team is amazing, especially Matteo and Thomas! Amazing guys and they're like made for this job. Matteo works with fitness and sports so make sure to pay him a visit in block C!
The entertainment is 21:15 in Flower Power and 21.30 in Bar Lounge.
During the days there are super many activities at the hotel for kids between 3-17.
There are also activities for aduls like: water polo, water gymnastics, shooting range and bow and arrow. You can borrow tennis rackets at the reception. You can buy tennis lessons too.
There is a buggy rental nearby and if you don't want to walk there you can hire a buggy from within the hotel (at floor -3 right by the stairs)
It is easy to find everything at the hotel, not complicated at all.
It is also not worth going there without take all inclusive because there are super few food places nearby.
The hotel is for people who really just want to relax, nothing for party poopers and not much for adventurers. We wen't on 5 trips during our stay here and it was faar away (except the buggy tour)
There are no late night bars or clubs nearby.
It is close to the ocean though, about 2 mins walk down the hotel pathway which is cute, is wheelchair friendly.
The oceans is also great to swim in at night, very very few people there after 23.00 and none by 00.00. Super warm water!
The restaurant by the oceans looks cozy and has nice cocktail options (4€-6€)
The food is mostly pasta and pizza and some dishes with steak . They sure love carbs.
The beds by the ocean costs 4€ and 1€ for a safety box. You can not rent a kayak h
