They drive quite safely, although they can get there a bit faster if you ask! I've used them on many an occasion after a night out and you really can trust them. What was the point of telling the operator where I was going if this is not passed to the driver and what kind of Taxi driver doesn't know his way in to Manchester! WE are only 10 miles away! I had to use the app on my phone which used up most of my battery ( not to mention data time!) leaving me little left to book a taxi home (not SWIFT clearly!). Booked…read morea taxi at 4pm for 11pm (18th September 2019) after the Pixies gig at the Apollo, by chance I looked on the app at 11pm to track the taxi only to find THEY cancelled it without so much as a word - I was left stranded with an offer of one in 30 mins? I declined their offer - I am disabled but ended up walking to the safe place I had parked my car which was a strain on me - My fare would have been appx £3 - £4 and the journey was a quick 3-4 mins, I suspect a better priced journey surpassed any realms of good customer service - I called and was told that there was a staff shortage - so much for the claim of how big they are and well established ?? I had used Scotts every time I came to Manchester, now I won't use them ever again - If there was a staff shortage, why not notify me sooner or reject the booking? I gave Scotts an excellent review a while back on a once only posting review site - so I don't just review when it's bad ... The biggest successes in business are the companies with the ability to retain their customers and never obtain new ones at the expense of existing ones - Very disappointed ...

Perhaps the best thing one can say about them is that they're reliable; several times I've had to catch a very early train from Manchester and I've been completely dependent on Telecars to get me there on time. They've never let me down! Their prices seem to me to be quite competitive, although I'm not really an expert on taxi fares in Bolton. The drivers tend to vary in friendliness; some are quite chatty whilst others seem to be the strong silent types. But I can put up with some variation here if they turn up on time and take you safely to where you want to go. All in all: I'd certainly use these people again.
