The staff are friendly and efficient, and get to wear some pretty cool aprons. Campos coffee was superbly made with lovely latte art. The breakfast menu is small but cheap. Only $6 for a very large bowl of granola with berries, edible flowers and yoghurt. Really beautifully presented as well. Definitely worth a visit. Black Rose also does fantastic, thin, crispy pizzas and delicious wedges, if you're feeling particularly peckish. The staff is friendly, and their eyes fairly light up if you ask for an alcoholic beverage, almost as if they're just waiting for you to get drunk and rowdy so that they can have an exciting night. The cafe is usually very quiet during the day, seeing as it's somewhat nondescript and doesn't appear to get much traffic, but that in no way lessens the quality of their fare. At night, though, it gets a little busier, and you won't have to worry about the cold on a winter night, because they have a nice big toasty heater in the middle of the outdoor seating area. Gloria Jeans is also there...but really that's usually a last resort when it comes to coffee. Then there is Devereaux, a small corner café with a great older coffee machine and an open comfortable vibe. The coffee was solid and the banana bread was great. It's a perfect combination when you need a pick-me-up. We ordered two more coffees takeaway and drank them while we did our shopping around the Centre. It's a great choice for our caffeine fix and fits into our weekly shopping quite nicely with Woolworths, the news agency and the Discount Drug store all within 25 meters of the café.
