I loved the interior and vibes of this place! Super cute and it gives a white clay interior which makes the space warm and inviting. I got the Churassco Tipico and the steak came out great, the chimichurri sauce was great but a bit too oily for my liking. The rice was seasoned great and I enjoyed the plantains that came with my steak. We also opted in for the churros, and those were a delight. Stopped in for dinner on Friday night. Glad we got there a little early before it started to get really crowded. I was surprised to see a number of families and kids. I really had always thought this was a more upscale spot for date nights, etc... but it's actually somewhat boisterous and noisy inside. There is also huge, covered casual patio. This review will be a little different than my usual. I was dining with my teenage daughter and disabled mother, who is in a wheelchair. I was able to park right at the door in the disabled parking spot. Since this was my first time here, I wanted to check the seating situation and see if it was "wheelchair friendly" I told the hostess, my situation and she said they could gladly accommodate us. My mom actually used her walker to get to the table with no problem, and we were able to have a great dining experience. The restroom is also large and spacious for a disabled individual as well. Ok, getting to the food-- it was beautifully plated. We had the yuca for an appetizer, and that garlic butter was garlicy! wow! I enjoyed it but make sure you are sharing it with your friends because it can be pretty heavy to eat on your own. The rest of my meal was really tasty and served hot. No complaints at all. I walked in this restaurant to meet some friends for lunch that I work with and let me tell you, this place is beautiful!! The waitstaff were very punctual and friendly. And the food, the food was spot on. What was not spot on was the price, I had a small soup and 1 margarita, it was $40 before tip. $40 lunch for some caldo de pollo and a skinny margarita. I'm sure that great for a lot of people but a $40 lunch is not really my thing. But if you don't mind the price, I would totally recommend it! read more

The food was great, the chimichurri sauce was chef's kiss! We were seated in the patio area, I didn't particularly love it even though I liked the ambiance. The background noise from the fountain was a little too loud for me. I asked my steak to be medium rare but it was more of a medium so that was mildly disappointing but the flavor made up for it. The service was okay, our server got us our water and drinks, didn't come back to get our order so we had to flag someone down. After that, our server was thankfully a little bit more attentive. Hands down, the best fajitas I've ever had! The shrimp were large and perfectly seasoned. I believe the tortillas are handmade, and the combination of onions, bell peppers, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole complemented the dish beautifully. My sister ordered the carne asada, which was incredibly tender and well-seasoned. She also tried the sparkling margarita, and it was fantastic. The decor was stunning, though I forgot to take a picture. They have a great bar area for watching games, as well as plenty of dining space for larger parties. The customer service was outstanding. We ordered carne flameada , enchiladas, chicken soup, and tres leches waffles. The carne flameada was pretty good. The chicken soup had more celery than chicken and the waffles had zero tres leches. Came to try brunch on Sunday. When seated you are given complimentary chips, 2 salsas and beans to dip. The beans and salsa verde are pretty good, but the beans are my favorite of the three. To drink I got a glass of Mango Mimosa, it was a really good mimosa! And I think it's good for the price point. For my entre I got Glenda's Caserola, a skillet with potato's, bell peppers, onions, jalapeños, bell peppers and chorizo cooked in salsa and topped with 2 eggs. I also asked for a side of corn tortillas. I asked for the eggs to be over medium, they were cooked perfectly, But the dish itself was very underwhelming. The dish was mostly potato's and salsa, not much chorizo, jalapeños, bell peppers or onions. The amount of avocado was great! But was lacking Everywhere else. The potato's where good but they kinda overpowered all the other ingredients. It was mostly salsa and potatoes. The corn tortillas were awful, the worst store bought tortillas I have seen/tasted at a restaurant. They tasted/felt stale even though I knew they weren't. I wish they would make their tortillas in house, or buy better brand of corn tortillas. The meal was okay, not worth me coming back for. This Gloria's has a beautiful outdoor patio and even though it was hot outside, there were fans and lots of shading on the patio. The Sunday brunch options are extremely reasonable and there was half-off bottles of wine on Sunday. An elevated dining experience without the luxury pricing. It wasn't the greatest burrito I have ever ate. The fajita Chicken was slightly dry. However, it was flavorful. I found the wrap of the tortilla around the burrito had spots where it was very thick - meaning they could put in more goodness (chicken, beans, rice, etc) for the size of the burrito. although the people I was with enjoyed the enchilada and red snapper corn tortilla tacos. Service is always top notch and the restaurant is pretty and always so clean. Only gripe is it's always so cold in there so make sure to bring a sweater! The food is always so good which is why we keep going back. They start every table with chips, 2 types of salsa and refried black beans. I personally love mixing the red salsa and beans. This time around we ordered the grilled shrimp, green enchiladas, grilled Salmon, steak and they graciously made special enchiladas for my mom as she does not eat meat during for lent. We started with the civeche and queso with rajas and enjoyed margaritas and Paloma's which were tasty as well. Everything tasted fresh, and I got a large piece of fish that nearly took over the whole plate. Gloria's does not play about the portion size. Hands down, if there's one appetizer you must get it's the Platano Frito! So tasty and the crispy bits at the ends, mwah perfection. Between the Ceviche Trio, Aguachile was our favorite. Wasn't as spicy as we were expecting, but the flavor was very nice. My mother ordered the Tropical Salad with Skirt Steak, very good flavor and the steak was cooked beautifully. Big portion too! Gloria's is a strong 4 1/2 stars. Great service, good portions, quality ingredients, reasonable prices, good chips and salsa. The parking can be somewhat an issue, but doesn't count towards my rating. I think my bias is I have my favorite Mexican dishes at other restaurants and Gloria's dishes in my opinion comes second. For example I have my favorite restaurant for quesadillas, a favorite place for chips and salsas, a favorite for enchiladas, a favorite for fajitas, etc. Although my dish ratings are limited to the tilapia, salmon, quesadillas, and drinks, I will have to come again to try more dishes! read more

So, their black bean dip is what keeps me coming back for more. I'm sure I can make it at home, but will probably miss one key seasoning, and will be totally bummed out. But it's great! I have yet to find one comparable, due to its refreshing, full of flavor taste, but would say Fogo de Chao is pretty close. Their Caldo de Pollo, or chicken soup, was a close reminder to the most delicious one I've ever had... (next to my Aunt's ) but, it reminded me of the one from Raíces in Puerto Rico.
