My son loves Glory Days so took him to this location while working in area. We ordered steak sub and roast beef sandwich. Did they change their meat from other locations? The meat was so tough and fatty it was impossible to eat. They used the same cut of meat for both sandwiches. I've worked as a cook before and don't know how any self respecting chef could put this on the window. The wait staff was nowhere to be seen and the place was almost empty. Have been going to this location for probably 6 or 7 years. Looked at the menu and order a salad to start and asked for extra dressing. The waiter told me that he could only give me 2 containers (very small). I told him that I had been getting extra dressing ever since I had been going there. He told me that it was corporate policy. I asked him for the manager. She came over and told me that same thing. I used to eat there on Saturday afternoons. It was always busy. In fact, so busy that I would have to wait several minutes. I accidentally put my sleeve in ketchup , she pointed it out and asked if I wanted some club soda to try and take it out. She was so attentive and was always there is we needed something. I just moved in this area a few months ago, I thought I should give this place a try. I expected good food and service as other glory days are. But I was wrong!! The service is extremely slow...and two of my family orders was wrong and one was bought 20 min after everyone on our table was finished. Not worth my hard earned money. Ehhhhh. First off, it was just plain ridiculously loud..people, music, tv..whatever it was...I don't know, but it was super hard to hear the people sitting a foot away from us without shouting (and we weren't at the bar, but in a booth in the dining area). I got the boneless wings, which tasted okay, but man, they were tiny! Also got the pretzel appetizer...nooot good. You can get the same quality by just microwaving one of those frozen pretzels from a grocery store (which I also really don't like). I was expecting like pretzel time/aunt annies soft pretzels that you find in malls. No..noo..it was not. Don't get it! There are a bajillion other places to get better food in NOVA than here. I love coming here to watch the all the games. There are plenty of TV's with all different games. Don't worry about not keeping up with the play by play of your favorite team because a volume box is located at each seating for your own desire. Did I mention the food is great as well! I love the BBQ sandwich and coal slaw and the beer is ice cold. The only reason I didn't give a higher star rating is because the staff can be slow, but I think that is due to not enough help. Ok I don't know what happened but this place is getting worse each time I go. I went here last Tuesday around 8pm. The floors were so dirty I kept stepping on large pieces of food while walking from the front door to the dining area. The amount of loud ass little kids that come to this place is ridiculous. At one point my ear drums had ruptured at the sound of a kid screaming. I ordered BBQ and wings. Wings were below satisfactory. The chicken was very tough and chewy but crunchy in the edges. It was either overlooked or old. The BBQ was also tough and chewy and very dry. I'm going to stop coming here. Not a very good choice for a vegetarian, obviously. Their veggie burgers are indeed delicious, though. The portions are huge, so I usually end up getting a side dish for my meal. The desserts are overly indulgent but good if you're having a carefree day for the waistline. The wait staff leaves some to be desired. Some are friendly of course, but more than usual I get someone who's very bored, unwilling to help and has the air about them that they'd rather be somewhere else texting by the back. They have a ton of staff as well - there are about five people standing around just to open the door for you. As much as I genuinely enjoy this restaurant I dread the hassle we encounter with the same hostess repeatedly. She seems to take it personally that we do not want to be seated in the bar. We are regular diners there and to have to have the same conversation met by her seeming irritation once or twice a week is ludicrous. She steals my joy! read more

I love the food at Glory Days and normally get good service, but today was not one of those days. I ordered wings, and as I was eating, I noticed that a wing had a hair on it. I showed it to our server who ordered me a new plate. He said the manager would be over to speak to us shortly, but she never came. When it was time to get the check, he said we wouldn't be charged for the "other" wing order. We were confused, because it seemed obvious that the second order was just a replacement for the first and that we wouldn't be charged for it. We then asked about the possibility of getting the wings taken off the check, but he said he'd have to ask the manager. We ended up paying for the wings because we asked at least three times to speak to the manager, and each time he said he had spoken to her and that she would be over shortly. She never showed, so we just left. I'm honestly not sure if he even spoke to her in the first place, and our server didn't seem to have a clue about what he was doing. I'm honestly disappointed that a manager didn't even attempt to speak to us or even take care of the entree. That would have been the least they could have done. read more

I am surprised at some of these reviews! I go here frequently since I live in the neighborhood, and bring my daughter for lunch a lot. We LOVE it here! The staff is always so friendly, the restaurant is clean, the food is always good. Not Ruth Chris, but it is a sports bar with decent grill food! I other reviews for this location had problems with the service but they did a good job for us and it was a Saturday night at dinner time so maybe they have improved. We have been there a few times since the last review in October and the place is just very inconsistent. For the most part, you get a decent meal, but basically, be there at happy hour to get the drink specials, go after 9pm to get app specials, or go on Mondays to get $5.55 burgers. The service is terribly slow although many different employees will stop by your table to tell you the waiter is very busy but NEVER offer you a glass of water or a drink refill. At least they stop by - the manager only makes an appearance when the host/hostess complains that they needed to serve water to waiting tables. Other than that - he'll just walk on by - and he won't even bother to pick up the check to run the credit card. The place would be better served with new management. read more

My husband and I usually to-go wings and fries occasionally for football games from this location. We try to avoid busy times so we can have better food and service. When we to-go our foods, it's always great and hot. One time (believe it was either Tuesday or Wednesday) we decide to dine in and it was not a great experience. This is probably one of the very few restaurants I can literally say I feel indifferent about when it comes to the food. The food here is moderately priced and average in taste. The reason I'm giving it a 2 star is because of the service which is most often than not below average. I normally eat their chicken tenders and burgers, I have yet to try any seafood or steak here but the chicken tenders and burgers taste normal to me and I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with them not is there anything amazing about them. Our party of 7 had an awful experience...the server spilled all of the drinks, forgot my sons food (chicken tenders did not arrive until we were all finished), the Ruben I ordered was terrible (incredibly soggy/mushy) all of the food was cold (with the exception of my sons food which arrived incredibly late) - would've been better off eating at Arby's. On another note my parents went there to eat a few days before us and their server also spilled their drinks all over them and the two cheeseburgers they ordered never arrived after waiting for over 30 minutes - so they left. read more

The Manager Jose is the best he is always smiling. Used to go here all the time, but not anymore. After we asked to change one tv to cartoons, which they are usually willing to do (or usually already have on), the manager refused. It was 11:30 am on a Sunday, and football season. Now, I get that it's a sports bar and they would need to change it back when the games come on, but again it was 11:30, she still refused. We love Glory Days Grill. Always stop in for lunch when we're taking the auto train down to Florida. The Burgers are awesome made to perfection. Terrific drinks as well. Always good food and beverages. $5 burgers on Monday!!! I normally get the steak salad, which is great. Ask for it drained and with the salad dressing on the side. The salad normally comes drenched in a vinaigrette and the steak marinade that it is cooked in, to buttery / oily for me. Drained and on the side is a much better option. read more
