On Thursday, May 14th, I received a distressing news that my son had fallen while running, prompting me to ask whether he needed stitches. The teachers were unable to provide a clear answer. They simply stated, "I don't know." This left me uneasy. When I arrived at the daycare, I was shocked by the severity of his injury. Adding to the frustration, there was no incident report, and the teachers had already left. I rushed him to the ER, where he received stitches for a deep forehead gash--a preventable mishap had the teachers managed the classroom properly. To ensure his well-being, I arranged for an MRI to rule out any complications. When I visited the daycare for the incident report days later, the director's response was shocking. She downplayed the injury, citing her daughter's medical expertise, and showed no remorse. Stating, "My daughter is a doctor, and she said the cut was not that deep because he did not bleed much." When questioned about the lack of intervention as my son ran, she responded defensively. I stressed the importance of proper classroom management in avoiding such accidents. It's unrealistic to expect a three-year-old to heed warnings without guidance. Instead, they watched until he fell, sustaining a significant gash near his eye. Disturbingly, the director admitted that in the future she'll dismiss overly playful children, which shows her lack of tolerance for normal childhood behavior. Another parent's review echoed my concerns, citing frequent injuries without proper documentation. Before entrusting a child to this daycare, please do your research. A few months ago we were looking for an interim daycare facility to take in our son while we waited for his spot on another school's waitlist to come up. That's how we stumbled across this Gloryland Montessori. It was easily accessible and affordable, so we went for it. Months later I am almost sad to be pulling my son from their care--he LOVES it! I was always expecting him to cry when I dropped him off, but he really only ever got sad when I came to pick him up. Always came home clean, no unexplainable bruises or infections, no questionable behavior development. The director as well as the teachers are very kind and attentive; they always greeted me and informed me of my son's day. They seem to definitely believe in rules and standards for their older children, but my son was in the infant class so I'm not able to fully comment on that. The only thing I ever had to address with them was the specific diet they provided to supplement the food brought from home--once that conversation took place, my wishes were respectfully followed. Gloryland Montessori School is the best School you can send your kids to. They have a very loving & caring staff. The director, a very hardworking lady ensures orderliness & treats everyone equally irrespective of who you are. There is time for everything here which makes it unique. We had to book an appointment to tour the facility which shows an organized setting, I was impressed. My kid who is in his first year of life enjoys going to school and has never come home with any form of infection which was what I was skeptical about when I initially planned enrolling him into a daycare program. They have a safe & fun learning environment. Gloryland School is also known for their cleanliness and regular sanitization of their environment, hence your kids are really safe here, I know this because my kid is here and doing very well. First I like to say a big thank you to this daycare,when my son first started he was unable to talk or say any words but when I enrolled him here I was told by the owner not to worry he will talk and after 2 months my son will come home signing,I cried and now my son can now read and talk ,am more than great full,the first day care will just make my son sit on a high chair all day and he will even fall at sleep,I surprised the lady one day to pick him up and she never expected me at that time but Gloryland has made me feel so much comfortable and when I drop my son every morning he is happy running inside,all does ladies takes good care of the kids and show them love ,thank you gloryland for making my son talk who hard a speech delay ,he now reads ,talks and well behaved read more
