Birthday Party Review This place is a hidden gem for a birthday party for a child between 4-8, maybe 9. So for the reviews about 12+ year olds, I think that is too old of an age for most activities. This place is by Kitchen wholesale places so you really would not know it existed. It is not far from Slingshots (aka old BJs Wholesale). When you enter it is just a front desk where you sign in and a party room to drop off your shoes and such. I was wondering WTF?!? Anyways, the staff pumps up the kids and gives each one a glow bracelet. The birthday kid gets a brightly colored tie dyed shirt. Then....they open the next door and BAM! You are entering a room of neon colored bounce houses, out of this world wallpaper lined walls from the ceiling to the floor, music (a little too loud) and a ton of things for the kids. They have soccer and basketball nets, they have a mini mini golf area (thus better for younger kids) and a ball shooting thing. These bounce houses for the cleanest ones I have ever seen. I don't think you can just walk in here like other places so you may need to call and find out the "free play". It was great because there were maybe 30 kids there, most with the party we were with. They have chairs for the parents to sit in which is also a perk. I know that they order in pizza for the parties, but we didn't stay long enough for that. I'd never heard of this place until my son, after hearing about it from his friends, said he wanted to have his 5th birthday party here. Apparently, all the 5yos were talking it up so he had his heart set on a party here. And so it was. Despite the random warehouse location in Norcross, we found it very easily. This place is great for the following reasons: 1. Weekends are for private parties only. We were the first party on Sunday afternoon so we had the whole place to ourselves for the first 45 or so minutes. Awesome! 2. Good variety of activities for elementary school aged kids. Bounce houses, slides, basketball, putt putt golf, soccer ... Not so great for very young kids but perfect for my 5yo. 3. Very nice party pro staffer to help with set up, serving, and bringing attention to the birthday boy. 4. Party packages aren't unreasonable when compared to other birthday facilities like this. They offer a birthday shirt and crown to the birthday boy/girl, glow bracelets for all the guests, as well as paper products and 2 drinks for each kid. Two drinks for each kid is great but all they offer are Capri Suns. The do offer pitchers of water, but it would be nice if they had 1 small water bottle and 1 capri sun instead of 2 sugary juices. One complaint I had was that it was stifling in the building when we went for our party. Because we were the first party of the day on a July afternoon, they hadn't turned on the air until right before we arrived and it was SO HOT in the play area. It got better as our event went on but we had a lot of sweaty boys running around. :( The other thing is that they're very strict about not coming in before your party time. The instructions I received with my reservation said to put our party start time 15 minutes before the party, which i did. But when we showed up 15 minutes before, they made us sign waivers which only took a couple of minutes, but otherwise, we had to wait around until actual start time and until most of the party was in the lobby. Not a big deal for a small party I guess, but we had 20 kids in our party so it was rather crowded just standing around. Last bit of advice to the owners: I'd redo your recorded message for your phone line. It sounds a bit amateur in its current rendition. So while logistics were a bit off, my son and his friends had a great time and that is what matters most, thus the 4 stars. read more

Glow Galaxy is fun we had my baby third birthday party there this Saturday it was very nice and the play area was had enough thanks for them to do and very spacious and it was not overly crowded which I did like. I did not like the out dated music in the play room and that you can only book 2 hour parties or you would have to book double just to stay longer that was ridiculous but overall the staffing they were very nice, pleasant and a big help. read more

AWESOME! My wife and I celebrated my son's 4th birthday party here on Valentine's day and it was absolutely amazing. Our party host, Jo-Jo, was unbelievable! She entertained the kids, ran around so muchi got tired just watching, and made sure everyone had a blast. From beginning to end, this place was awesome. Beyond frustrated with this place!! I came here for my nephew's birthday party over a month ago and one of the employees took my gift to place in his party room, only to find out once my nephew got home to open all his gifts it was not there. One of the employees accidentally placed his gift in another families room and that family took it home. :( I get this could be an honest mistake, but the fact is my newphew is out a birthday gift and I'm out $40 dollars. I was told multiple times they would reimburse me the money, which seems like the right thing to do, but now it's been over a month, 7 calls and multiple promises to send a check to my address and still nothing. Im getting the run around. This is unfortunate too because we have done birthday parties here before. I won't EVER again if this is how you treat people that support your business. To some $40 is nothing, but nowadays every penny counts and this was also time spent to pick out the right gift (awesome remote dinosaur, dinosaur outfit and book and a family signed card that is irreplaceable). it's now been so long those items I can't repurchase. I hope the family that realized this wasn't their gift enjoys it, too. What is this world coming to that people are willing to take advantage of a 7 year olds birthday gift. So upset! read more

It was my son's 7th birthday & he had a great time most importantly!! The people that checked us in were nice & pleasant. Our party host was great! We had 26 kids! The facility was so cool & fun! My small kids(2-10) enjoyed the inflatables, basketball & golf! My bigger kids(11-19) enjoyed basketball & spooking the kiddies in the dark! There was only 1 other party going on, so it was easy to identify my party kids. Now the downside. The interactive dance floor was not working, I reported it & they were already aware. The inflatables are very worn & dirty. The pizza was cold but good, it was from Marcos. The kids could have 2 juices or water. We ordered wings(they were tasty) & sodas. The concept of this venue is fantastic but the reality is far from it. We recently had our son's 5th birthday at the ATL Glow Galaxy. We were the first party of the day and the staff came about 5-10 minutes before the party started to open despite the website instructing partygoers to arrive 15 minutes early to sign waivers. The party room was gross, dirty with old food and trash from a previous party when we arrived. Food debris on the floor. There was urine in the toilets and no paper towels in the restrooms. In the play area, there was cups, water bottles, used face masks and trash all over the floor and above the cubbies. They do not let you bring in outside food or drink and have an old water fountain that you have to fill up yourself for the party room. Subpar and unacceptable. The place was so dirty there was no way were doing that and had to purchase water for our guests - which was unacceptable. The staff was borderline rude and not helpful and you can't get ahold of anyone on the phone if you have questions or issues. If this place had better management it could be great but as it stands today, I would not recommend. read more

I had my sons 5th birthday party there today. It turned out pretty great. Pros It was a quite day and we pretty much had it to ourselves. Facility was clean Kids had a great time on the slides. Tori the party host was great! She was great with the kids. Plenty of pizza for 5 year olds. I didn't have to worry on anything except show up with the birthday boy and cake. This review is based on a party experience we hosted at night. Initial contact to book the party were a little confusing until I spoke to the owner. Deposit is $75. The owner was very accommodating to answer questions we had for design purposes and emailed us everything we needed. (Plus) There were some specifics that we didn't receive such as, there's a throne for the birthday child. And the location is almost invisible. They are next to csi kitchen, but all of my guest either got lost or had difficulty finding the place. (Strike) Here is a plus, the guy working the front was helpful. However, the kid employees were not the best with communication. We had some challenges understanding what was expected. (Strike) The kids loved the play time. It is literally a huge area of glow in the dark inflatables, basketball court you name it. Decorating the eating area. Make a note that you have a certain time to enter the room to decorate. That was a challenge but staff was very accommodating to get us in. (Plus) Nice touch. At a certain time they announce the birthday child's name over the intercom and sing. I liked that. Then the kids enter and eat. (Plus) Food. There isn't a cafe located there, so plan accordingly. They cut the slices in half. So they are tiny pieces. Considering these were big kids, one bite and the pizzas are gone. That was not how I would of fed my guests. There wasn't really a clear system either to make sure everyone received the same amount. So some kids received more than others. Not pleasant. (Strike) Cake time it was okay. Could of been better, but don't want to nit pick. Overall, it was average. After doing so many events for myself and others it was average. I also think it is pricey for what you do and don't get compared to others. But it's not the worst. Would I do another party there. Maybe, for younger kids and not a large group. I may even consider an adult party. read more

We had a very poor experience from start to finish here. Let me explain. We were told to arrive by 11AM to allow our guests 15 minutes to sign in before the party started officially at 11:15. We arrive a little before so we could begin setting up. When we arrived at 10:50, there were no employees there. Eventually a young man showed up and had no keys, so we and our guests waited in the parking lot (in the rain) for the person with the keys who arrived right at 11:15. We were offered an apology and the party began. They sell the parties as something where they do things to make it special and that the employees are helping with setup, etc. The only thing there employees did was to set out 8 plates and napkins in the room. I have no issue with setting up myself but was frustrated that after showing up late, they made no extra effort to help us (which was supposed to be their job anyway). Their "party pros" did absolutely nothing, they didn't even greet our son. We had to ask multiple times for water pitchers. They had the wrong juice order. They had gift bags for us that they wanted to charge us for, even though we had asked not to have that included (thankfully, we had the emails to the manager as documentation, the manager did not show up that day). Most of the employees spent their time at the front desk laughing and having a good time while we did the work. They made no effort to help us or make the party special. In hindsight, we realized they probably figured they wouldn't be getting a great tip due to all the issues and probably just decided it was easier to not work. When it was time to pay, after I had signed the receipt, a new person asked me if there was anything he could do to fix this. He did this after the party is over... He had been there for awhile, knew the issues and made no extra effort to make it up then. He identified himself as the "manager" but hadn't made any effort to find me earlier. I told him no and that we would not return. I received a call later from the owner (Dusty) who did apologize, but at this point the party had passed and I was ready to move on. He didn't really offer anything other than an apology, which wasn't going to retroactively fix the issues, so we just won't be going back. In general, this venue is less expensive than some of their competitors, i.e. Catch Air, Hippo Hop. But be prepared, they had very poor service and seemed confused overall, you get what you pay for, it's not worth the risk on your kid's special day. read more

Took the godkids (ages 10 and 11) here today. We arrived at 11 p.m. and walked in after passing by the place. Be warned, there are two signs, but not very visible from the road. It was pretty quiet in the lobby, but the very friendly cashier told me that there were some kids already inside playing. The great thing about this place is that parents are free, and each kid is only $8!! After paying and being informed of the rules (socks on at all times, no somersaults/rough housing or climbing up a slide, and to use the handi purell stations, we walked down a hallway, past 2 party rooms and into the play area. Now, this is the only play area that I have been to that has glow in the dark moon walks and activities. Included was 4 very large moon walks, a 3-hoop basketball area, a small putt-putt and a nicely netted off area with 2 regular sized basketball hoops and a soccer goal. Another cool addition was an interactive TV, floor game thing. My godkids loved it and we ended up staying for about an hour and a half and the only reason why we left? Because the kids got a bit hungry and thirsty. I really wish that they would have a little snack area or even vending machines as they do not allow outside food or drinks inside. For the price, the activities and the much appreciated energy burn-off, I really like this place! read more

Very disappointed. All the signs and advertising states all employees required to were masks. No one had a mask. Advertising stayed they will be take g temperatures no one did. What's sad my daughter got a stomach from drinking the water fountain? When t told someone she said we weren't suppose you use the water fountains. They were not roped off. GREAT EXPERIENCE! We had attended another child's birthday party here and everyone really enjoyed it. So we, along with some friends, decided to host a joint birthday party for our daughters. SO EASY! Information was accessible regardless of which family reached out to the facility. On the day of the party, our assigned hostess and the support staff did ALL OF THE WORK! From the moment we walked in, all of our bags (decorations, favors, cake, etc) were secured, kids checked in and we were free to greet our guests as they arrived. The staff had everything under control from timelines, to group games, to finally corralling 30+ kids and parents into the private room for cake! We didn't have to cut the cake, light the candles or even separate the gifts for our birthday girls. KUDOS to the team with which we had the pleasure of working - Percy (Mgr on duty, Asst. Mgr to Brandy) and our party facilitator, Ivy (who was assisted by Alisha and a couple other awesome young ladies). Our guests, kids and parents alike, expressed their enjoyment... including a "That was the best party, ever!" If you are considering hosting a party here - GO FOR IT! read more

Attended a 6 year olds birthday party here and it was fabulous. Trey and Faith were our party planners/directors and they did a great job of chaperoning and directing the party and making sure everything moved along smoothly. Great safe fun place for the kids to play and loved that it was only for parties no open play when there are parties planned. Lots of fun inflatables and the glow in the dark feature made it extra. Cool for the kids. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of chairs dotted around the venue for parents to hang out and chat. Great experience and special shout out to Trey and Faith. This place is amazing!! My son had an awesome time for his 6th birthday!! He wanted to come back the next day. Thank you to the staff and our party host for accommodating such a large party. We'll definitely recommend this place to our friends/family. I would have given it 5 stars, but my son didn't receive his king crown and that was one of things he was looking forward to. I am extremely disappointed with our party yesterday. We did not received an amazing party pro for our party. We have been to several parties at Glo Galaxy and yesterday's party host, did not for one bit acknowledged our birthday girl. There was no entrance for the birthday girl (like we've seen before); no activity led for the party and we had to serve the cake ourself. My husband had to step up and lead the crowd to singing happy birthday because our party planner was just looking at my daughter. He did not even introduced himself to us. The payment is extremely high to not get any party involvement at all from your people. Add to the fact, that one of the bouncy was closed. For the price of the package, I was extremely disappointed. I also had to ask for the glow bracelets. The front desk acted like he was doing me a favor by giving us those when the package clearly indicated it was part of it. This place makes a great celebration EASY and SMOOTH on the parents. Scheduling was easy. The contract is clear, they take care of everything for you and beyond! We just celebrated our twins birthday party and all the kids (more than 30!!!!) had a blast. The place is clean, fun, NOT CROWDED, and the party hostesses do all to make sure it goes well. My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday yesterday afternoon at Glow Galaxy. There were pros and cons. Pros: - The party host was very friendly and attentive to my daughter, starting the night before when she called me to introduce herself and find out her favorite color and games. - The facility was big, clean, and not overly crowded, in fact it was like a private party my guest had full run of the party facility during our time slot. - My older guest also had an enjoyable time as well. Cons: - Their lowest party package is 12 kids, should be lowered to 8 or 10 in my opinion. - There was no in room activities to occupy the kids while waiting to be served. - You're ushered out of the facility immediately after cake and ice cream, there's no option to return to the play area at all (which left the b-day girl in tears). I've thrown many b-day parties at a lot of different facilities for both my son and daughter and i would definitely rate this place a high 8. A few minor changes would certainly put this place at a 10. It has my recommendation. read more

I had my 5 year old son's birthday there on Mar. 3 at 5pm. The staff was very patient with all of the kids they deal with on a daily basis. They gave each child a glow bracelet and because of the package I chose he got a glow galaxy shirt as well. He and his friends were very excited to go into the play area. We played for about an hour and half and they all had a blast. The kids had plenty of pizza and Capri suns for the package I purchased. We also brought cupcakes and party favors. They set-up our party favors on the way out to clear the room for the next party. This venue offers great times for having parties. I have held two parties here in the past, once in 2014 and again in 2016. The experiences were like night and day. My first experience was awesome and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My most recent experience was a nightmare and here's way, party was suppose to start at 11:15 and we were asked to have our guests arrive by 11 to take care of paperwork. I get that, makes sense, so I want to make sure to arrive before my guests and get the decorations and cake setup so my party pro can have things setup before kids arrive at 11am. Well, I get there at 10:30 and nobody was there at all so I call the phone number and it rolls to Randy's cell phone (I assume the owner) and I leave multiple messages. Keep in mind I have a cake and balloons and boxes of decorations in the car and guests start pulling up at 10:40. One of the employees (maybe the manager) pulls in at 10:40 behind my guests and proceeds to walk into the building. She walked right by us and didn't say hello, are you here for the party, I'll be right with you....NOTHING! We proceed to get the things out of the car and head toward the building and she has LOCKED THE DOOR! WHAT THA! So again, we have to bang on the door she comes to let us in and I asked her which party room are we in. She says I don't know yet because I'm just getting setup and you are EARLY! ITS 10:45am, we were told to be here at 11am, I hardly call 15 minutes early and she proceeds to say your party pro will not be here until 11am., WHEN THE PARTY STARTS! Ohhh...IT GETS BETTER.....I proceed to setup the party room, which was not my experience before. During my first experience the party pro had assistance to setup the room while the kids played in the play area. I did not do anything in the party room. This time it was all me and my guests setting up the party room and also searching for my party pro to get assistance with setting up the food and drinks we preordered with them and paid for. It was awful...I will NEVER come back to this place. I paid too much money to put up with this headache. BTW, I never heard anything from Randy considering all the messages I left you would think he would have returned a phone call. read more

We were so excited to attend my nephews 7th birthday party. Our hopes were dashed quickly. After considering this for my own son's party 8 days later, I realized quickly there were problems. The sign is 3 feet long and 2 feet tall hidden in the grass -off on the side of an industrial park building with no direct access. GPS will help you here. We were late already and significantly late due to not being able to locate the venue.We drove around a massive complex for 20 minutes looping around dumpsters and "FOR RENT" signs when we finally found parking and saw the sign. Unfortunately, by that time the party my children were attending had moved to the party room. They did not want me to sign a waiver to let my children into the Galaxy room. Once in the party room, the pizza was gone and cupcakes were in the process of being devoured. There was still one hour left "in party time". My sister who paid, felt upset because she had though the time between the "Galaxy room" and " party room" would be divided appropriately. Meaning, it takes 20 minutes to eat and the other 1:40 are playtime. She found out along with me that my children were not permitted access. Unfortunately the forces that be had already crammed in another group to the GLOW ROOM:. I begged, offered to pay and finally became disgusted when BRANDY ( the manager) refused to even let my children look in the Galaxy room. They were in tears and she was the most disrespectful and disengaged party affiliate held in charge one could have had hoped for. This experience was the worst we have ever experienced in customer service and decency. Not only would I never hold a party here, I would refuse to attend one again. The way Brandy treated my children and myself is beyond complacent and disrespectful. It borders comparisons like the DMV and hospital waiting rooms. This sad illusion of fun will soon be another for "FOR RENT" sign and Brandy will have to find a job at the DMV . I doubt she has the customer skills for that....she can't even engage children when she is being paid to The fact is, the customer is always right and deserves to leave happy. I love this place! We decided to have our 5 year old's birthday party here after attending a friend's party. The place is very unique and well laid out. The bouncy houses, mini golf, basketball/soccer area are super clean and well taken care of. There is so much to do-I had as much fun playing as my kids did! The staff is extremely organized and fun. We were assigned our own party staff who made our birthday girl feel very special and led games and made sure all of the kids were engaged and having fun. In the party room we had 2 staff who set up the room for us as well as served food and cake, cleaned up and even wrote down names while gifts were opened so that we would know who gave what for thank you notes (which were also provided!). Everyone who worked with us was very pleasant and kid focused. We were thrilled with our experience and will definitely be back! read more

It is the perfect place to have a birthday party. Your party coordinator stays with you and your party and makes sure to keep everyone happy and safe. I cannot say enough good things about it.
