I was searching for a stonework contractor this morning when I found two negative reviews about…read moreRinaldi Electric, written on September 24, 2019, and May 2, 2022. I acknowledge those reviews, but my experience with Rinaldi Electric over the years has been entirely different. I have been renovating different properties for the last 27 years. As a result, I meet numerous different contractors, not necessarily with the most satisfying results. If you are planning a significant or minor renovation at your property, you need to be knowledgeable or fortunate enough to find good contractors. In my experience, finding good contractors could be very distressing and anxiety-provoking. Educating yourself about the specific areas of the renovation that you would like to execute could be exhausting. However, it will alert you if something is done incorrectly. If you feel that you can trust a particular contractor, you might confront an unpleasant surprise most of the time. A few years ago, I needed some electrical work inside my house. I interviewed three different electrical companies in my area. Unfortunately for me, I received three different approaches to do my electrical work with drastically different prices. I was forced to learn the appropriate way to do my installation. It took me a few months to understand this particular electrical work, but life forced me to learn more. At a certain point, I was lucky enough to interview the "Rinaldi Electrical Co." This company was the only one that knew what to do appropriately, with excellent customer service, and for a very fair price. As soon as they started working at my house, I was convinced that the work would be done correctly. They were polite, responsible, and knowledgeable, which is very difficult to find in this new era. The company's owner is a very polite and responsible person who will be diligent about ensuring that the work is done correctly, and most importantly, with customer satisfaction as a priority. He is an excellent businessman who is currently difficult to find. This is the only company that I am aware of that doesn't generate anxiety in me when they are working in the house. I contracted Rinaldi Electric on three different occasions with magnificent results. They are coming back soon for the installation of my new kitchen. After working professionally with human behaviors for over 38 years and having accumulated experience with different contractors, I feel very comfortable recommending "Rinaldi Electric."

So unreliable. Disrespectful. Have no work ethic whatsoever. I don't even know why they even call…read morethemselves a company because they don't know how to manage it. OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS PAYING OFF THIS JOB BEFORE IT WAS EVEN COMPLETED. DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE! We hired these people because the price seem fair. But this wasn't the case in any way. PURE NIGHTMARE! Literally I felt like this was something that you would see on a Netflix series. Seriously speaking. A whole house renovation with new electricity requires a lot of dedication and attention and these people had none. Our home was practically demolished and brought up to be a new home so our kids and family can enjoy extra space. You couldn't even have a conversation with any one these people. These people were our worst nightmare I can say it millions of times. They never picked up the phone it was always through text messages never returned phone calls. Starting from the wife MARIA, whom clearly has some issues going on with her. The husband (ROBERTO) is the one on the license and was never around to even come supervise the jobs or come check if anything was done right. He came at the beginning then disappeared stating he had another job. The employees they sent always complained that they weren't being paid that's why they were coming at times to do the jobs. They would last 2 weeks without sending anyone to finish off the work. Always had an excuse that they had other jobs. The wife speaks and texts for the husband. Because she is the so called manager!!!!!!!! She has a nasty attitude, you can't even tell her anything, she catches a fit for any adjustments or opinions you may have. All the adjustments that were made or extras as she would call them were paid for, upfront. and if you didn't want to pay it first she would catch a fit. She threatened to remove her PERMIT. If my husband would speak to the workers or say if anything was wrong. Her say always was "that her husband had a licensed and he knew what he was doing and sent the other guys to do". They would send people to do the job, whom didn't know what they was doing not sure if they were even licensed. There was so much back and forth going on with this lady. ( I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON WITH HER) (CLEARLY SHE MADE IT SEEM LIKE EVERYTHING WAS A PROBLEM WITH US. EVERYTHNG BOTHERED HER SOME BIPOLARISM SOMETHING WAS DEFINITELY GOING ON IN HER SYSTEM AND I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT. WE HAD ANOTHER COMPANY THAT CAME TO DO A JOB AT MY HOME AND THEY DID KNOW OF HER CRAZINESS. THEY ALSO RECOMMENDED TO REMOVE HER FROM THE JOB AT ONCE, BEFORE THINGS GET WORST. Another thing I guess she got pissed and called up the inspector or department of buildings, to make herself look good, and try to tell on us with them that work was being done with no permit in my home. When clearly all the permits were posted on the window. The only thing we didn't know off, was when we installed our security came ras." A low voltage application" is needed for that and we as first time home owners doing renovations werent aware of that. Almost everyone in the neighborhood has cameras and that was never mentioned. How did we know she called up she said it herself she messaged us that she wasn't going to claim that camera job. We never asked her to But we did let her know in the beginning there were cameras going to be installed and her husband even recommended how it should be done, "since he knew about the wiring and stuff and where it should be placed. The security cameras were going to be put in from the beginning because 1) we had supplies and materials coming in for the home and we didn't want any theft going on. Which rarely happens in our area. If she was a such a considerate person she could have said listen I see your installing cameras. Understand that I can't legalize that job because it needs a separate application. But she had it for us because that's how she is. Gladly we weren't penalized for it because we did inform we didn't know of it. And Honeslty we didn't. Anyways there so much more a few bits and pieces but letting everyone know all of this. Hope it helps. DONT EVEN CONSIDER IT!!! AVOID YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! To finish off..... My house is a mess with their work. Inspector was disgusted with the job they had done. My inspection for the rough in, and the home service failed. Had to hire someone else to finish off and fix the crazy mess they had done. WE JUST WANTED TO GET OUR HOME FINISHED AND READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS.
