it blows my mind that anybody thinks this place is good. i've been dragged along here several times…read morefor birthday dinners with my ex-boyfriend's family, and i asked him every time, why the hell would they choose this place? it's awful. and the answer was always, well you can eat as much as you want! so yeah, that's the good part about mr. wu. the bad part is everything else. the buffet area is always cramped & hectic. and the food itself is just crap. the sushi is a joke, and it seems like everything else is fried & flavorless. they even have french fries, wtf. the only thing worth eating is the (i suppose) mongolian-style grill, where you pile a plate with whatever meat, veggies, and sauce you desire, and they cook it fresh for you. but even that is nothing to write home about. for dessert they provide the lamest shit they could think of, including jello & mediocre ice cream. seriously, they could not even shell out for good ice cream. it's shitty ice cream. i'll never voluntarily go to mr. wu, and now that i'm no longer with my boyfriend, i don't think i'll have to ever be dragged there again either! :D
