For $3, you're roughly a 20 minute ride from Kipling Station and you get a free transfer to the subway, so that's not bad. And this time I didn't cry when the ride was over! What prevents this from getting more stars is NO LUGGAGE RACKS. It's the same issue with the buses in NYC that go to LaGuardia. How can you call yourself an airport bus when you don't have room for the big-ass bags people are carrying? The airport bus in Montreal had space for bags, just saying. When I rode it this week, going to the airport it stopped at Terminal 1 first and then Terminal 3 and then headed back to Kipling. My total commute time from Osgoode Station downtown to Terminal 3 was 1 hour and 10 minutes....longer than a cab for sure, but only $3 so I had a lot of extra beer money. Very easy to find at the airport and at the Kipling Station. ___________________________ * just a joke, I've never had to pay for it....yet. That said, I'm not getting any younger or better looking.

We flew in on an international flight, took off around 5:45am and left the airport around 6:30am…read more The only downside was that the female washroom near the arrival area only had 2 stalls so I had to wait for quite a while. Other than that, everything went very smoothly. We completed our ArriveCAN before the flight, so we just needed to scan our Canadian passports / Canadian PR cards at immigration. There were no queues or issues at all. After that, we got our 2 checked in luggages within 5 minutes. It saved us so much time and I definitely think taking an earlier flight is a huge time saver.

The bathroom in baggage claim area is small. Then you go downstairs to catch your Uber ride. The return was very good and then not so much. The good is 2 minutes in security and USA entry. The not so good is the very long walk to our gate. The Air Canada lounge near gate F88 is pathetic.

This is pretty major GO station, so it has a large number of bus routes and it's own train line…read morealong with trains that go all the way to Georgetown/Mt Pleasant to the west and all trains/buses ending at Union to the East. There's a lot of parking spots available and you need to arrive very early (8am or earlier) in order to get a good spot. There's a second parking lot too that some people might not know about as it requires a further drive on Steeles and then a double back to the south side of the station. A very big negative for the station is the lack of a central board that indicates what buses leave from which of the bus stops and form which of the 4 platforms the train would arrive/depart (but since there's only one line, you're pretty safe just joining the crowd that's already on the platform). The bus stops have their own signs indicating their destinations, but this requires one to walk all the way to the stops to figure stuff out. And there is a small electronic board well above eyesight level under the big green "GO" sign indicating the train platform, but it's hard to see and does not help once you're actually in the station. Other than that, there's a small commuters cafe in the terminal that serves coffee and snacks (never used it though). You can get downtown either taking the bus/train all the way down to Union or taking the bus on the 401 to Yorkdale/York Mills. Keep in mind though, as the 401 bus frequently uses a stop outside the actual Bramalea GO station (stops at the south east corner of Bramalea and Steeles instead) Overall it's a good hub for travel to go downtown as service starts around 5am and goes on till 11 or 12 at night, with the last bus from downtown leaving Union at 1:30am to get here. As with most stations, AVOID rush hour! If you can spare it, take the 9:20 train down and aim to return on the 6:50 train back up. Both a far more pleasant ride than all the other times!

So why am I reviewing a bus route... because I can AND because this one deserves praise. There's only been a few occasions in the last 7 months that I've NEEDED to take the bus but each time I've walked to Kipling this bus is like a good neighbour, a good friend, nay like Statefarm insurance - it's there! Even in weekends with reduced service it seems like 10 minutes is the longest I've ever had to wait. For those looking to access the lesser known beaches of south etobicoke from the city center a quick ride across the bloor line to the Kipling station and jumping on this bus will have you at the Humber campus where they begin, in no time. I also feel a lot safer knowing that my fiancée, a regular TTC rider, never needs to wait for her bus when she leaves early in the morning for work. I've clocked it and the express buss actually gets me to Kipling station faster than when I drive. All other bus routes take note. Oh and also.... no crazies in this route phew!

If you took the subway, it would take 1 hour, but it is cheaper. The train runs every 15 mins, 7 days a week. I've taken this train for many years. The trains are on time, clean, air conditioned, comfortable seats, electrical outlets at each pair of seats, luggage racks, and free WiFi. Since the pandemic,  there are plexiglass barriers between each pair of seats. You have to tap on and tap off so it can calculate the distance.  There are 2 intermediate stops. You can use a credit card to pay (adults $12.35) or a Presto Card to pay (adults $9.25). Children 12 or younger are free. If a passenger qualifies for a disability, they would have a GO Disability sticker with their Presto Card. The disabled person pays their regular fare, but the accompanying person is free. There are wheelchair seats. There is free WiFi. The train is wheelchair accessible. There are n9 washrooms. There is paid parking at each train station. Review 2023-160
