There's been a huge turnaround for the better at Go Philly. New staff have been friendly and accommodating, unlike the rudeness of the past. My food has been great, whether its the ultimate cheesesteak, smash burger (so juicy and tasty) or the chicken tenders, there is nothing bad on the menu. I tried the tenders for the first time today as part of the Tuesday special. They were BIG and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I came to pick up my DoorDash order and experienced a very frustrating situation. There are 8 other people who have been waiting 45 minutes to an hour. My order was apparently given away to someone else, and I ended up having to reorder and pay again using my personal card. I didn't know there was a drive thru pickup window until after I'd already walked inside to pick up my call-in order, so I'll take advantage of that window next time. I just had some of their juicy, moist, and made to order Southern Fried Jumbo chicken wings for dinner yesterday and they were the best!!! They are like wings the size of your fingers!!! But I have yet to try their cheesesteaks and I heard they they were okay too!!! They got all different kinds, like a regular cheesesteak, a deluxe, a chicken Philly, a Pepperoni cheesesteak and even a Veggie one for all you vegans out there!!! I was totally satisfied with the food and everything in between. They also have another location I Lakewood (I have been there also!!!) Rude service is GUARANTEED here. Also, they advertise coupons and then refuse to accept them. When you ask them to follow through on their (obviously falsely) advertised special they say "We stopped that months ago", which is weird because it's been in the app for months. They also act like you're the problem just for asking. When you ask to have the owner call, they send you to the website and there isn't any contact information. Is this the kind of establishment you want to give your money to? Food is decent, if a bit salty, but it really isn't worth it to me anymore and I was a once a week customer. Met the owner and he seemed decent, but I can't deal with a small business that does the same thing corporations do to us.
