So I grabbed my cart and didn't bother warming up. I wanted to get in as much as possible in the time I had before bad weather arrived. They have a practice putting green and a range right by the club, with balls available at no charge. There is an ice and water machine on the right, at the turn, between the pro shop and the course. I filled up my cooler with ice. I checked in with the starter at 12:50 and he started me on hole 10. Apparently there was some work being done on the front 9 that would be finished up by the time I got there. I encountered a group of two ladies on hole 2, that let me pass. Then, a couple that had taken a break when they thought bad weather was coming, pulled up and passed me to continue their round. I eventually caught up with them and they let me pass. The single ahead of them also let me pass. I got stuck behind a group of four me. Who finished the hole and had gotten started on a par 3 and I opted to pass them. From then on, I was at my own pace. I finished 18 holes in 2 hours and 1 minute. That's a record for me. They have many tee boxes with great signage. I played from the reds, so not quite the front tees. The course was absolutely gorgeous and in pretty good shape! I loved the nature sightings. There is a lot of water on the course. Played a solid round here, getting 85. The same starter has there for years and he has a chip on his shoulder. The Pro Shop people reflect the same negativity. Yesterday I played and had a 1 o'clock tee time. I arrived at 12:30 and they tried to push me out the back nine right away. I said I'd like to hit some balls first. I'm 63 years old. Then, the gentleman stated that he's not guaranteeing I would out by 1 o'clock without being behind a bunch of groups. I told him that I had a 1 o'clock time. I was very unhappy with his demeanor. And that's what you're going to get with the Pro Shop people there.

It appears to be a par three course but it's not; there are a couple of longer holes. The cart was gas and very noisy and no gps. The course is super narrow and challenging. It's not forgiving at all. There were small port o potty style bathrooms along the course. I used them- they are fine. Some of the fairways were washed out but the greens and tee boxes were mostly great. They have some of the biggest alligators I've ever seen. The shop is small. They have a women's and a men's bathroom to get changed out in. They sell some alcoholic beverages in the shop but no cart service. Parking is plentiful. We had a fun time. I lost a few balls over fences and into the water. Oops. We would golf here again.

I left it at the cart shack as the attendant was in the shack. I left my yeti in the cart. I called the shop the next day and they said they did not have a yeti. However, the ability to read the greens and putt with the right pace is key. The staff is friendly and the clubhouse and dinning rooms are amazing. My only complaint is the driving range doesn't offer target areas because your hitting into the water but there is an island green you can hit to. Oh yeah, the golf carts are equipped with a gps screen but I found the distance to the flag were off on a few holes. This was confirmed via my laser Rangefinder. Despite having an extensive home gym with several machines and 1000s of pounds of weights, I recently decided to supplement my workouts utilizing Rhino's Gym and could not be happier with my decision. The gym is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The equpiment is very high end with unique and challening options that will not be found at the majority of other gyms. The other members are polite, friendly, and a great mixture of all ages and skill levels. During normal bussiness hours there are typically only a few other members allowing you to have accessibility to everything you want to use. Even better, with 24/7 access, I have had the entire building to myself for 2 hours uninterupted. In the past I have had 5 different gym memberships and must say I not only find the pricing fair at Rhino's Gym but would even gladly pay more for what is offered. In addition to membership, I choose to hire the gym's owner for private strength training. Having had dozens of coaches throughout my life, competeting in multiple sports, and even training with pro/olympic athletes I feel well qualified to rate my 1 on 1 sessions and so far have been beyond impressed. The owner is professional, well spoken, and very knowledgeable. He has been incredibly helpful and has been happy to provide insight on multiple topics, even going as far as giving advice on recent purchases for my own gym. The owner's wife also offers pre/post natal and mental skills training. While I can not comment on her skillset on these topics, I can say she is equally friendly and helpful during interactions with members and a pleasure to be around. If you are considering a gym membership or training I would highly recommend Rhino's, you won't be disappointed.
