My ex Husband was charged with felony dv strangulation so when my own law firm didn't believe me or understand the danger and threat I was under. The district attorney of Texas did! Child support cap increased in September. My divorce was finalized in August and his attorney and he knew that which is why they rushed to get this done. My son is out $500 a month bc Carla nor this law firm knows anything about family law or what they are doing. That's just one thing. The second thing they failed to do was my QDRO or even inform me that I needed one! I had to hire another law firm to get this done for me. When I spoke to them they said this should have been apart of my initial divorce process and what attorneys did I have? I had to pay her fee plus continue to go back to court. Bc of course my ex husband had a good attorney and he knew this and so did she. They just thought I wasn't going to follow through on it. Stay far away from this firm. Terrible people all around. They don't care about you or how your life ends up. I'm lucky that I'm smart and I was able to help myself through this case with the very little knowledge I have. if not they would have totally screwed my son and I.

I paid almost 7 grand at the beginning of October and although I was reassured in December, that everything was going fine and they would let me know if they n the fed anything, by January when I checked back, I found that they had not even started the case and told me I had never sent the application in, which I did, and they verified that they had received it. Fast-forward a full six months later, they are finally getting the paperwork for the monument of title after numerous errors on their part and promises of it being ready by the end of February or first of March, I am still dealing with their careless mistakes. They have completely changed the name on the waiver that is being sent and notarized so I am having to wait to correct it. their inepti has affected my blood pressure, sleep, and overall health. This has been the biggest comedy of errors I have ever. I really don't understand how he is still in practice. Hopefully others will see these reviews and realize that of all of the five stars he received must have been fake.

All of them kept telling us it'll take 24-48 hours and we'd wait and get no call backs. We'd even offer to pay for consultation services if we could just talk to someone to figure out what we should do. We were having issues with our GC and needed clarification and advice on what we needed to do to resolve our conflicts. Our GC demanded we pay extra costs on our new home build (which we've never talked about, nor agreed to). We're at the 95% finish rate. We've paid all our drawers on time and basically the exterior of the home is almost done, but the GC wants to charge us another $12,000 for labor and supply we've never talked about. Throwing out fees/dues right as we are literally at the end game! So much so that they're threatening us if we don't pay, they're walking off job! Pathetic and so unfair on so many levels! Although, I wasn't able to hire Roberto to work on my case, because after talking to him and explaining what had happened and the legal avenues we could take, in the end, we'd end up paying so much more than $12,000. It's sad that we have to pay our hard earned money to a pathetic -and conniving General Contractor. I will say, for Roberto to pick up and actually spend 20 mins to advise to us about what we should and shouldn't, do, is just awesome. He didn't hesitate to help , listen to our issues, and the key thing is, he actually cared enough to help and advise. I can tell his customer service is great, because he picked up his phone automatically and actually wants to help people! He also provided excellent legal advice assessing the merits of both sides of the case, which helped us a lot in understanding the probability of a favorable outcome if things went to mediation or to court. Unfortunately, I also have to deduct 1 star because Roberto missed a couple of calls that I had scheduled with him, so it wasn't a flawless experience working with him. Perhaps it was a crazy busy week, and sometimes busy attorneys do get stuck in court or some other higher priority meeting. In those cases, it would have been better to get a text message or some communication from his office. However, I had to call his office both times to find out what was going on and reschedule.
