All the pastries looked tremedously delicious and I could easily have picked all of them if I wasn't alread full from a previous meal. The staff recommended me a french pastery with banana and mango filling which was amazing. The lemonade I had with it was freshly made and had the right sourness and sweetness to it. My boyfriend had a salt caramel ice cream which was tastier than the ice cream stands which are highly rated on Yelp in the center of old town. To put it shortly, everything was perfect. If you are in Gdansk, you just need to visit this coffee shop and have your own magical experience.

I was worried the food might not match the appearance... But I was pleasently surprised at the quality and flavour. The food and service was outstanding. Love the interior, attentive and helpful staff and their T-shirts :))) They have a very original menu: NYC bagels and waffels. My waffel was delicious - with salmon, avocado and cottage cheese, tomorrow I'm going to try a sweet version. Oh, before I go any further it's Dom not Don and Dom is omnipresent. I knew nothing of the Polish way of life and as it includes all of the above it's a way of life I sure do endorse with enthusiasm. So I had a vanilla ice cream with candied walnuts (oh candied walnuts) and my wife had mint & chocolate ice creams. Each was liberally topped with Chantilly cream. Mine also had a boozy advocaat sauce which was delightful while my wife's had chocolate sauce on hers. So as well as high calorie fab ice creams, with all the trimmings, we had a flat white and a cappuccino each. Just like almost every other place the coffees here were superbly made, tasty and almost art works in themselves. The service was courteous, prompt with a smile. What also made it enjoyable was that the very comfy seats overlooked the Main Street outside as well as allowing us to be able to watch fellow shoppers go about life.

The bathrooms, however, were horrendous, and I suggest skipping it and going elsewhere for the toilets. And for the person who once reviewed that they are overpriced has obviously not ventured to far for ice cream. Because I found their price to be quite similar to those that I have dipped into before for good ice cream. They also have a menu booklet to help you with your decision. I liked it. So being fond of the odd doughnut or two, or three (alright you get the picture) I noted the location as we drove quickly by. Three days later and under our own steam this time we found this place and bought two doughnuts. There were a dozen or so flavours but being a simple chap I opted for the melina (raspberry) and my more adventurous wife chose a snickers one. Each was separately bagged up and both cost the equivalent of an American dollar. It was about an hour later that we decided to eat them and they were nothing special so if that's the best in Gdańsk then ya can keep the lot of them. These were greasy, the bags they were in were saturated with grease and they tasted like cold fried bread. My one with raspberry jam had a very cheap jam filling. My wife declared hers a pretty grim experience too. It had some bits of peanut on the outside but like mine the predominant flavour of hers too was cold fried bread and grease. There was nothing snickers about the taste just a plain doughnut with peanut nibs on the outside. We wouldn't eat another for free. Our advice here is if you have a craving for sugar here then there's an ice cream parlour two minutes away. If Beni is on commission I understand his recommendation if not then he has poor taste and even poorer judgement. On balance it's one star as terrible is more suitable than poor even though they cost little money. Cheap, cheerless food.
