I gave them a shot. I ordered 10 Wings wet (Lemon Pepper of course. I'm Civilized) Yes, Team FLATS. These wings were big, and I was happy to see it. Because I had had an absolute fantastic day and I didn't want to look down at some little Pigeon Wings. Wings were wet and very tasty. Certainly the best I e had since I e been in town. After telling the waitress we no longer had the appetite to eat the wings and no longer wanted them, she brought our receipt showing only a -$3.54 discount because "some" of the food eaten. This joint's been on my wife's radar for quite some time, apparently. I didn't even know about it - but I'm ecstatic she recommended it last night. I can honestly say these were the best boneless wings I think I've ever had - and I'm definitely a "wing guy". Ya know, sometimes you get boneless wings from somewhere - for example, somewhere with a name similar to Muffalo Mild Dings. The wings seem large, but in reality, they are closer to 70% breading / 30% actual meat. In fact, sometimes wings from places are almost difficult to eat because the breading is so tough, so hard, it hurts the mouth. Gold feather, on the other hand, although producing arguably smaller wings - more than made up for their size with their quality. The breading was not overly hard, it was not overly fried, and the chicken was perfectly tender. If I had to guess, the ratio of breading to meat was 80% meat / 20 % breading. Service was decent, and I love the somewhat al fresco dining experience when they have the "garage door" open as they did last night... So, sounds like a 5-star review, right? Not so fast. I ordered a sparkling water to drink - and they didn't have any (yes, that's a big deal to me). Also, I thought the sauce I ordered with my wings tasted nothing like the name. "Chill Bill" is supposed to be "sweet, mild jalapeno"; I don't know what that sauce was (it was good, don't get me wrong)....but it's definitely NOT "sweet, mild jalapeno". Lastly, "checking in" here might get you free fried pickles - I mean, I got 'em for checking in. Unfortunately, I didn't like how they are presented: they come as spears, not coins. If I could give zero stars I would. Yesterday my friend placed an order of Mac and cheese with buffalo wings and bbq wings and chocolate cake. She was able to eat her food and it sent her straight to the restroom all night. I placed my wings in the fridge overnight. The wings never sat out, next day I placed them in the air fryer and began to eat them and noticed some of the wings were bloody. My friend called the store & let them know what happened and Alyssa was over talking the whole entire time. telling her she shouldn't have put them in the fridge overnight. I asked to speak since it was my issue n Alyssa stated she was the manager and let me know what I did wrong which was not the scenario. Just kept over talking about being rude for no reason. I asked her was there anything she could do anything and she advised since it has been 24 hours or more she can't couldn't do anything. She pulled up the order and the order was placed at 5p on 9/20 and today is 9/21 5:22p. Yes it's 24 hours as of the 22 minutes. I just did not appreciate the way I was spoken to and mishandled. And honestly I planned on bringing 10 plus guest next Friday for wings because I enjoyed them at one point but I will definitely take my money elsewhere. Went based on a recommendation from a friend, I ordered to pickup, food prices are good and the wait time was reasonable. Usually I tip in cash even if I order to pickup but I was surprised that they already added $3 tip to my order without asking. The wings were ok, they didn't come with a dipping sauce which was weird. I can say that my experience didn't go the way I wanted. I ordered the fried pickles because I have to have them and they were good. The breading fell off, but I would put them in my top 10 of places for fried pickles. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles with red velvet. They were so good. Yup! I had some of that. I ordered the 15 boneless and the cowboy sauce along with tiger sauce. These were amazing. I'm getting older so the spice of cowboy held me back a little bit the tiger one was awesome. Lastly, I will say price was pretty steep.
