It's pretty much a typical Wetherspoons too, not the best or trendiest pub in town but the prices are reasonable, the service is also quick enough and there's a decent amount of seating. The grand staircase and parts of the building go a long way to make you forget the god-awful carpet. I like how the pub has a good number of rooms though, which despite having the Wetherspoons feel, still makes you feel like you're in a different pub, and ordering to the table via the JD Wetherspoons apps makes it easier to stay in one place. 3* - Typical Wetherspoons and discount pub in general, but certainly not bad at all.
