i always find cool stuff here! i am a very avid thrifter (i'm 19 and have technically been going to thrift stores since before i was born.) their prices are STUNNING. the clothes are always such good quality and the staff is nice and helpful. there is SO MUCH in here. i've found my size in bras, which is astoundingly hard to do since it's not common for department stores to sell it. it's not a far walk from NCMC which is where i do my colleging. i've gotten clothes, dishes, a speaker, crafty stuff, a cool messenger bag for like 3.50 and some really cool skechers here too. i love this place. read more

Gold Mine Resale Shop - Petoskey, Michigan

Great thrift store. It has a boutique vibe but also manages to be very low priced. You can tell it's all items provided by donations, which I like because of the great variety. I found a very cute jacket sold "as is" simply because of a tiny hole in the hood. It turned out to be the perfect item for some lakeside hikes on my road trip vacation. This is the type of homey thrift shop I'd love to have in my own area and I'm sure I'd visit often! read more
