We have a box full of his artwork, drawings, crafts etc. & get a daily rundown of all the fun things they did & learned about from the teachers when we pick him up. We also get an excited & happy daily breakdown from our Son on the way home. He loves this place as much as we do. That speaks volumes. The staff is AMAZING! We cried on the last day of the 2 year old class because we loved Ms. Juvy & DeWanda so much! Its been 2 months since he switched classes and every day, without fail, Little man asks if we can go say hey to Ms. Juvy & DeWanda. His current teachers Ms. Sam & Ana are just as awesome as last years! You can tell that they truly love and care about my child & he feels the same way. What more could you want from a daycare?!?! Ms. Simmons & Ms. Kim run a smooth operation and have been very efficient in communicating to all the parents about new things and how the school as been doing. Especially through the Covid-19 pandemic. We love this place. They don't have…read morebox store donations, it's all organic from local donations, which means things get re-used instead of wasting resources on more new sh!t to eventually clog our trash piles. They had a little of everything here. I didn't see tile or flooring like I do at home, but it may be hit or miss. They had tubs, toilets, sinks, vanities, doors, windows, home decor, furniture, lighting, etc. They had more household goods than I see at other stores, so it's a thrift shop too. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. They had 30% off the first week I was there, and 40% off the next week when I returned. I was told the manager usually does a whole-store sale instead of rotating department-only sales like at home. That was great! Items looked fairly priced to me. Some seemed high, some were great deals, but overall a fair price. Remember that manager discount really makes it a much better price too! I saw a lot of cool games, sport items, and some of the light fixtures were awesome and I wish I'd driven down to take them home. I'm sure there are different great finds every time you visit. We visited to check it out to compare to ones at home, and I was surprised to see a few toys, which my son immediately begged to get. First thought was they can't go home on the plane, but for $1 to get a sturdy big bucket ($5 new at Walmart), and $1 for a tractor trailer truck... minus 30% off everything in store, came to $1.50 with tax. Why not? We just donated it back at the end of our stay. I also donated the new unused rolls of paper towels, tp, rubbing alcohol, tissues, and excess Easter egg hunt prizes we couldn't take with us. They can always use this stuff in the bathroom or wherever. Just a thought to all the vacation renters nearby who have to leave things behind. I'm sure the cleaning people have seen so much of it they just throw it out, but it could go to a thrift store or food bank in Brunswick.

We knew about some of the issues with our potential purchase but the inspectors found a few items that we would have never noticed. The guys were very easy to talk to and explained things in a way that was easy to understand to someone who has little building experience. The report was very informational and we are using it even after the closing to fix those items that our seller would not. Robyn and Sheila made it so easy to schedule my inspection. They were both so fun and friendly each time I called. Can't go wrong with this company.

What a HUGE disappointment this company was. We paid extra to have not one but four people perform…read morethe inspection on our home. They sent us the inspection report and informed us they were unable to inspect the Jacuzzi tub because there was no access panel. That is a big deal right? Except the access panel was in the water closet. When we called to inform the owner of the company we basically got an "our bad" answer not exactly what you want to hear when you spend $550 to make sure a significant financial purchase is in a sound state. Additionally we found that the water softening system hadn't worked in so long that the shower heads had significant residue built up on them. Back to the Jacuzzi the jets were packed with something Lord only know what and if we had been told by the company we hired to be our advocate we'd of asked for it to be cleaned/serviced. Then we call to have the ducts cleaned and found out that they need $2500 in repairs, improper sealing, leaks in the ducts a drain pipe going in the wrong direction, and then we also find out that when the unit in the attic was replaced the old one was left behind. So my question is I hired 4 people to do a home inspection and am not confident any of them knew what the heck they were doing. So did they have one person do the inspection and three watch? It is really disappointing when you buy a home you know there will be things that need to be fixed but good grief. It makes me worry what did they not catch or not see as in the case of the jacuzzi, they also stated the ac wasn't working that they were getting an error message. It wasn't even the ac control panel they were looking at, it was another panel for pool controls, which was out of their scope of inspection. So how as a home inspector you can't tell the difference between a spa control and a thermostat? Here's a free tip one says heat and cool the other doesn't. I'll let you guess which one is which. I know that for home inspectors there is no licensing, or formal training but, when you hold yourself out as an expert ; shouldn't you be at least close to one? All the good intentions in the world do not cover up buying a home you think is in sound condition but isn't. We're sitting here thinking what the heck else is wrong and why did we pay $550 for? When buying a home steer as wide a berth away from this company as you can.

I got a wonderful map of the area that is very helpful. Check out the information about the carvings in the trees all around the island. They are amazing and it's fun to go and find them all. The gal who was working the day we stopped by was welcoming and friendly. We had a nice conversation. The only downside is that there are no public bathrooms in the welcome center.
