We would like to give a big shout out to Golden Mushroom of Nyack!!! We celebrated my husband's big birthday there last night with a party! The food was amazing( as always!) and the service was outstanding!! The ambiance is warm and friendly! Apple and her team were so attentive and friendly to us and our guests!! Everything was amazing !! I give them 10+ stars If you're looking for a place to have a party and your family loves Chinese food like mine does, choose Golden Mushroom... you won't be disappointed!!!

Went for new year's take out. Huge menu with sushi. Food was good and the restaurant looks very inviting. Great atmosphere and well spaced. Has a nice lunch menu that I want to try

The food here is pretty good. I came with a party of nine and we shared a bunch of dishes and appetizers. They have a broad selection of Chinese, Sushi and Thai. The service was fairly quick and we were seated promptly. The inside is much bigger than it appears. There is a Japanese side and a Chinese side.

It's likely the best Chinese food in Rockland County! We went there last weekend and were so happy with the entire experience. We started with the Steamed vegetable Dumplings and the egg rolls. Both were great. My wife had the General tso chicken, I had the Capital Chicken and my daughter had the Spicy Dragon sushi. All three dishes were scrumptious and the large portions allowed us to enjoy the leftovers the next day. The restaurant is a warm casual place with nice decor. The service was excellent. Can't wait to go back again.

Thai Garden has long been our favorite Thai restaurant in the area, and I've previously given them…read morefive-star reviews. On this recent visit, the food was still very good. We ordered beef satay, Thai fried rice, duck chili basil, and chicken red curry. I also had a bowl of Tom Yum soup, which was excellent -- fresh ingredients, tasty, spicy, and refreshing. Everything was flavorful and well prepared as usual. We also had a bottle of Singha beer and Thai green iced tea -- both great, and the imported Thai beer here is still very reasonably priced at $5.95. The restaurant was busy during our visit, which is usually a good sign. A couple things caught us off guard this time. We asked for shrimp crackers to snack on before the food arrived -- something they used to give complimentary -- and later noticed a $5 charge for them on the bill. There was also a 3% credit card fee added with no mention of it beforehand. If costs are rising and adjustments are needed, that's understandable. Just be transparent about it so customers aren't surprised when the bill arrives. The food itself was still very good, but the unexpected charges took a little shine off the experience this time.

Makes me upset it took me this long to drop by! Wontons were more like Shumai but no complaints, curry puffs tasted like it was from an Indian restaurant which only means the taste was on point. The chive dumplings?! Bro... don't sleep on these!! They were so effin gooood! YES SO DAMN GOOD. Green curry is always my favorite and I'm glad they didn't disappoint. Broth was spicy, sweet and creamy. Salmon was cooked perfectly and portion size pretty big. Drunken noodles had a nice chew to them, def wasn't over cooked. I would go back just for the damn chive dumplings lol ok maybe a few orders of them! Haha GIVE THEM A TRY!

Every dish hit the table hot and quickly without feeling rushed, which I always appreciate. Great casual lunch or dinner spot! Catch up with friends or enjoy a lowkey dinner without feeling rushed or overly formal Also love that this spot is BYOB. I paired my meal with a Thai iced tea -- flavorful and refreshing, just not overly sweet (which some people might actually prefer). Appetizers: The curry puffs were delicious -- flaky, flavorful, but I definitely wished there were more than three. Chicken satay was well executed, but the honey ribs completely stole the spotlight. Super tender, flavorful, and easily the must-order on the starter list. Entrees: We ordered the deep fried filet snapper (with white rice) and the chicken Khao Soi. The Khao Soi was the standout of the night -- perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, coconut curry broth that was easily 10/10. The snapper was fried beautifully, and the mixed vegetables tasted incredibly fresh and bright -- almost ceviche-like in flavor. Portions were satisfying enough that I had zero room for dessert, but this is absolutely a spot I'd come back to explore more of the menu.

If you do dine here, I suggest skipping the appetizers and going straight to the main course options. Regarding the apps, the duck pancake was actually in a green wrap (which seemed odd) and the sauce overpowered the bits of duck inside. The spring rolls were large and had what looked to be alternative meat or something with similar consistency and didn't seem overall that fresh. The fried spring rolls were "ok." The best thing was the pad prik with veggies and tofu which wasn't oily but also didn't feel like it was amazing. It appears you can order online when they're open which is a plus if you hate using the phone. I'll leave the caveat that I'm not a Thai food connoisseur but usually enjoy it. I wish that I felt more positive since it's a small business! Maybe I'd give them another chance if I was eating in the restaurant. Metered street parking and doesn't seem too hard to find parking. No credit card processing fee.

Everything we had was delicious. We tried their off-menu corned beef spring roll (highly recommend!) and then shared a mix of classics: Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Thai Basil Fried Rice. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and truly delicious -- a great Thai option in the area! I went with my dad and husband; my dad had been before and recommended we go, and he was totally right. We would definitely go back!
