I was referred by a friend and thought I would give them a shot. When I called the lounge, I asked if I can have a pedicure and a gel overlay on my nails at the same time. I had another appointment at 2 o'clock. I asked her if I can come in at noon. I arrived at noon and they began to work on my toes and the owner started to work on my nails. But right when another customer came in, she stopped working on my nails and told me that another woman would be right with me after she finishes another woman's pedicure. That happened to be 40 minutes later. I also gave a picture of what I wanted for my nails and they did not make that happen. I also requested LINKIN PARK for my toes... They said they didn't have it and I just told them to please pick anything that is similar. The person doing my pedicure had a hard time with English. As I got home, I realized my toes have read all over the tip of them. I would not recommend this place. My appointment again was at noon and I didn't get out of there till after 2 PM. Would not recommend a wax from here. I came in for an underarm and lip wax, and the underarm wax especially was done painfully and inefficiently. For both the services I got, it should take about 15-25 minutes max, and I was there for about 45 minutes. It didn't seem like they had the proper tools/equipment for the service, nor the proper training. read more

Came in for a nail removal and there is still glue on top of my nail, she also sliced me at the tip of my finger near my nail with the file then brush it off like it was nothing, I didn't get a sorry or anything, and even after all that they couldn't even deduct a few dollars off of the nail removal because it wasn't even done correctly and i got cut in the process. Worst $15 ever. I know things happen but the cut could have been prevented and she could have showed a little bit of remorse towards cutting me really deep and maybe double checking her work to make sure that the glue is fully removed. read more

I love that they are always friendly here. I went for a polish change only since I do not have the most steady hands. ($13) plus tip. I called before going in and they were able to take me right away which was nice. Unfortunately the polish smudged even after waiting a good 15 minutes after. I guess it is partly my fault too... I learned never to wear any sandals , but normal kind after. The pinky toes (not pictured) were the most smudged. I have always been happy with the customer service and quality of their services here, as I've been getting my manicures and pedicures done at Golden Nail Lounge for years. My daughter, daughter in law, as well as my mom in law are all clients. I wasn't aware there was an extra charge of $15.00 for gel pedicures. It's really not about the extra $$, but it should be posted on their website and or their price lists. I don't know of any other salons that charge this?? I decided to get my nails done today because I am going out of town to my cousins wedding and wanted my nails and feet to look good. Got a full acrylic set from lindsey. (I wanted to do something summery, with pink and flowers) This was her first time trying this technique and she did such an amazing job! I honestly would not recommend this nail salon. I was not given my change of $5 after paying, so I paid more than I was suppose to. When I brought this to the owners attention, in front of other customers she pulled up footage of cameras on her phone of where I was sitting. I explained many times but they insisted I was given my change. It was embarrassing to have other customers staring at me during this entire process. The owner could have discussed this with outside or in a private part of the salon. After about 20 min waiting for her to view all the camera footage, I respectfully told its fine and I left. I went there to get a Manicure( I had requested just cleaning and massage), they got to me sit at the Manicure table/chair arrangement (rightfully so), however I requested if I could please sit in one of the massage chairs as my back hurts and I could enjoy the massage while the nails were being cleaned it- they had four chairs open and all staff busy, so even if a client came, they couldn't have helped them right away....They refused to entertain my request! in fact the owner was vehemently shaking her head and saying something very loud and seemed annoyed. They explained they may have more clients coming in later- really? Later they had 7 chairs open( with a staff of 5 to serve anyways) but ignored to offer me a change even at that time! if they are rather hope to make more money on someone who may drop- in; over a customer in front of them- good luck to that bad practice! I'm really frustrated with this place. It's close to home so I thought I should give it a try. I went in to get a much needed pedi and get my nails done. The lady did fine on my toes but counldnt believe how much they charge for the jell but I did it because I wanted them to last longer. The girl that did my nails was very quit and you could tell did not want to be there.. couldn't even crack a smile.. which was ok but took forever. I was patient but when I saw some bumps and flaws and asked about them she snapped back saying she hadn't finished yet. So I waited it out. Finally after she was done I saw deep divots between the lines from my French manicure line that separated the colors... The nail on my thumb turned up and was super thin and the other nails were either ruff to the touch had harsh file marks or divots in them. But I paid the outrages cost and went home only to look at them closer and get frustrated... I had spent a long time there already and pretty much done with the gal doing my nails. I called back the next day and had another lady, I think the owner "fix them". When I went in She basically scolded me and told me to say something at the time I got the nails done because it's from how I took it inconvenient for them to do it any other time! So now I'm pretty mad sitting there! she fixed my thumb that looked like a spoon and filed the other nails down so thin that the next day I scratch my head and one of the nails breaks off! Soooo! Yes! I go back! She sees me and says.. again?! What did you do jab your finger ? I said nope! just scratched my head! She laughs.. I'm not laughing at this point being there the 3rd day in a row has pissed me off!! I paid a lot of money for these crappy nails! I asked her so now are all my nails going to break off ? That was ignored and I got the silent treatment from Then out. She fixed the broken nail, I sat there in silence while she looked at her phone while my finger is under the light not customer service talk, no apology, no nothing. She said your done I got up and left! Since then.. only a week ago, two other nails broke off! Lesson learned!!! This place is terrible! I hate even giving them one star. read more

Unfortunately after giving it a high rating, I dropped to "not going back" When I went with my daughter we were only showed a higher priced menu of pedicure prices, when I found out later the other standard ones were still available but you have to ask.
