Went in for deluxe pedicure. I've been getting pedicures for 20 years. Tech kept getting pissed, when I flinched (from her cutting me) Water wasn't even warm. She ended up cutting both of my big toenails and skin causing them to bleed. I told the manager & tech. BTW, their disinfectant is Windex! They #1, said I wasn't bleeding or cut?? As it's pooling around my nails! #2, When I wanted a discount off the bill, they refused. Saying other than her cutting both my big toes, it was a pedicure. I NOW have to have 1 of my big toenails removed. Then tried to get me to tip more! Tech brought out the cheese grater. I Later found out cheese graters for feet are illegal in Oregon. I still have my prior polish color on my toes. AFTER pedicure was done. Manager then tried to blame me...as I'm sitting in the spa chair? They are too expensive! And it's not worth it! There's a lot of salons in Hillsboro, that give a great pedicure! Don't use Golden nails and spa! Unless you want a toenail removed and infection to follow. THEY CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA $3 FOR NAIL FILE! Worst pedicure I've ever got. The water was freezing! I asked for it to be warmer and she said she already put product in the water. They left the hot towels on my legs until it was freezing cold. Little flies were flying around me. I would not recommend this place to anyone! They did not even get all the dead skin off my feet. I get an acrylic set or fill and they are always exactly how I want, quality wise, and aesthetically. Tran is amazing, but everyone there is nice, and does great work. Really wanted to try somewhere new but honestly disappointed to the point that I just finished my pedicure and I'm writing a review in my car. Also, I want to state that I'm a licensed nail technician in the state of Oregon but only went in for someone to do my nails because I'm 9 months pregnant. This place is completely unsanitary, my tech was dropping my foot buffer on the ground and I asked for her to replace it and was ignored. She came over with a caddy with used napkins and I'm uncertain if her implements were fully sanitized or not. I asked for callus remover, which is a type of chemical cream/lotion that breaks down and exfoliates dead skin. She brought out a cheese grader which I'd like to say is ILLEGAL in the state of Oregon. If ANY nail tech brings that out, say no. Then, at the end of the service after a poor polish job (kept getting gel on my skin as well as not letting the polish cure under the uv for full amount of time which can cause bacteria or contact dermatitis as well as lifting and not lasting as long) she said I couldn't leave without giving her a tip!!! Service was already $53 which is weird because I selected the $35 service plus $10 add on for gel and she wouldn't give my card back until she got a tip so I gave her $2. That was by far the worst experience at someone else's salon and I will definitely be reporting them to OHA. If I wasn't a nail tech and didn't know to look for those things, I would've never known how dangerous this was. Edited to add: she was also using her gloves and massaging my legs then would get up and answer the phone without changing her gloves. 3 other workers were there on their phones, shoes off with their feet touching things on the pedicure chairs. read more

The quality of the result is simply not of quality, and without talking about customer service, they offer others water or do not look them in the eye. I don't like them watching videos and chatting on Facebook while I pay for a service!!! I have been wanting to try this nail salon since it is conveniently located in the Fred Meyers complex next to Hawaiian Kine BBQ. I cannot say anything about their manicure service because I only got a basic pedicure that is still priced at $35, you can also pay by Venmo, and they only accept tips in cash. The service was nice and professional and I am happy with my pedicure, however I do feel like I keep getting "upsell" attempts and it just really didn't sit well with me. For example the booklet they show you is flipped to the expensive services but all I wanted was the basic pedicure which was on the previous page. I was also asked twice if I wanted gel instead of regular polish. Overall it was an average experience and the salon was bright and clean. read more

The service was okay, but definitely feels overpriced for what I got. Thought I LOVED it when I first walked out, but not even a week later the color is already lifting from the bottom. She used the powder on my nails but it came out really thick and I prefer just the regular polish. I also said that I had sensitive cuticles, but she kept burning my skin with the nail drill tool. Was so happy to be able to get my nails done and go grocery shopping right after! That was a one time thing, unfortunately. I got a shellac manicure and there is both polish all over my cuticles and not enough polish to cover the nail on others. I have a uv lamp and could have done this good of a job. I got a very basic service that should have been done very well with their eyes closed. Very disappointed with my overpriced $40 manicure. read more

went here for a mani pedi with gel toes and French tip gel fingers. toes look great but fingers were second and felt rushed. looked great in shop but later when I got home there were fibers in the polish on my fingers. they also still felt very bendy and not like there was any support from gel at all. then not but 2 days later they started to chip and peel. I could have done a better with my light at home. guess I just way overpaid for the convenience of someone else messing up. I don't treat myself to a service like this very often so I am very disappointed with results. never going back. read more
