I would love to keep this a secret, but this Chevron has the best gas prices. (Technically Arco does, but I rather not by choice) So if you are local, you know that the other Chevrons nearby up-charge on their prices. It's probably not too much of a secret when you see the cluster of cars waiting to get on a pump here. Gotta tell you about the Chevron app. Ever since I loaded it in my phone, I activate the pump before I get out of the car. Those who know, know. The app also gives you fuel discounts from 10 cents to 1 dollar a gallon. The weird thing is that there is a separate app for Extra Mile and they don't seem to be associated with each other even though they both give you points or discounts on food. Anyways, be ready to wait if you go here to fuel up during peak hours. Aside from my rave with the gas station, the store is clean and I have never had an issue with the staff. They have been nice. Came by to fill up the car with petrol the other night and it was an excellent experience. Pricing was amongst the lowest for Top Tier Chevron gas. The competitive advantage here is that both cash and credit pricing were identical. Fuel pump was in perfect condition with NFC payment, speedy gas pums, quality paper towels, as well as squeegees and soapy water for servicing the car. If you know, you know.. this Chevron is one of the best priced top tier gas stations in all of LA County. Wait times can get bad as there are multiple entry points off the freeway or street, but I've usually gone here during non peak hours and been ok. The low Yelp rating here isn't fair given the good price and also plethora of functioning pumps (rarely seen one out of operation). I make sure to stop by here when I'm in the Diamond Bar area- it's been a long standing tradition since I moved to LA! read more

Although I must warn you that this is right off the freeway, next to the 57 and 60, so it does get super crowded! Not to mention, it shares the same plaza as McDonalds, so its always poppin. Customer service is pretty good now that Jason is gone. He was the guy with the bandana over his mouth, never said anything, and always looked like the world owed him everything. Definitely use the Chevron app each time you use any Chevron gas station to earn discounts off your gallon. My mechanic recommended that I use Chevron for my GT Mustang. This is one of my favorite gas stations to go to. I usually get gas once a month recently but when I do I end up going to this Chevron. Staff members are always super friendly and enjoyable to chat with. There is a McDonald's that you can go in or drive through. So it's super convenient if you want to get some gas and also some fries as well. The gas prices are also pretty reasonable and there is a difference in cash or credit card just FYI. The gas pumps itself are super clean and I never really have to wait to get gas at all. Inside you can also get some snacks like chips and chocolate bars also! I'm a sucker when it comes to looking at what is coming out in that industry but it's something that I've been enjoying more often now than I have ever. I'm leaving this review on my father's behalf, since he doesn't have his own account: Last night we stopped to gas up at this location in Diamond Bar. After, needing to use the restroom, he saw signs posted "Out of Service" with yellow warning tape across the restroom door. Having seen the female service attendant come out of the women's restroom (which also had signs on it), he took the initiative to use the men's restroom out of necessity. The Extra Mile attendant named Crystal entered the men's restroom and told him he needed to get out - while he was in the midst of using the toilet- saying he needed to respect the signs. When he got out, he confronted her about the intrusion into his privacy (that will show up on the security footage) and also about the signs on the bathroom door - asking why the signs were up since everything was functioning. She told him that it was out of service because flushing would cause an overflow. He, in turn, said everything was working perfectly, but it was a mess in there because no one had cleaned it. She said he had disrespected the facility rules; he said he saw no rules. He then proceeded to go into the McDonald's side of the buidling, and asked the server, Michael,how many restrooms there were in the facility. He was told just the two, and that the workers themselves use them. Crystal then made a derogatory gesture - twirling her finger near her head to indicate my father was crazy. He told her to quit being lazy and clean the restrooms, and told her he would come back to take photos of the signs, indicating the lack of respect Chevron/Extra Mile has for basic human need. The restroom looked dirty as though it hadn't been cleaned for days. Very convenient to put up signs instead. Finally, I myself, used the women's restroom when there was a change of shift had just occurred, and everything in the women's worked fine as well. And he didn't harass me at all. read more

Attendant has the worst attitude to customers! I was handing over my Chevron card as I told him the pump number my car is at. He abruptly cut me and said that the pump is not working. I suggested that a sign be put up. With an attitude, he told me that he placed one and someone just took it down. Then I said then maybe you can put a cone in front of it so no one will try to use it just like the other broken units on that day! A combination Chevron/McDonalds/convenience store adjacent to both the 60 & 57 freeways, it's a 24-hour travelers' oasis. The gas prices are competitive with the nearby Arco station, and better if you're paying cash. The grounds are generally well maintained, as both the fuel and food operations share the duties. Night owls will appreciate that the McDonalds keeps their dining room open all night as well as the drive-thru--but beware the creepies that come out at night. Matters with the Chevron side vary dependent on who is working it. If you visit while a certain pony-tailed gentleman is holding down the fort, you'll find the pumps wiped down, the floors mopped, the restrooms clean and the coffee decanters full because he's always working his butt off. Of the four or five chevrons in the rowland/industry/walnut/db area, this is the cheapest one..and trust me, I conducted a check for about 2 years. Plus it's next to the freeway; it's rare to get a cheap gas station in that type of location. They're on average $0.10 cheaper than the closest chevron, so like I said, trust me. There's a mcdonalds shared with this place, so it can get crazy crowded, esp with the fact that a lot of people know it's the cheapest one around so there can be a lot of people getting gas and people fighting over pumps. Just be assertive and let people know you're waiting for a pump before they try to sneak their way in. Pretty safe here too, I've never been worried about getting gas super late at night; though I've had the occasional person asking for help. Helped when I could and didn't when I couldn't...no harm no foul. *extra tip, get a gas credit card and you'll always pay the cash price =p read more

Our go-to Chevron because we have their credit gas card (we get $0.03 back each gallon) and this location is usually the cheapest Chevron that's next to the freeway (rarely find that) as well as Mobil and Shell that's in the same intersection (although Shell and Chevron always the best prices). So of course we frequent this location quite often, it's clean and very spacious although it'll be nuts busy on some days/weekends regardless and it'll be like a fucking can of sardine with cars (and a plethora of honking). LOL. Since we come here often we noticed that 25% of the times we come (usually the late night runs) their credit card system would always be down (pump and inside cash register system) and you can only pay with cash OR wait it out. I once waited almost an hour with my sister for their system to come back up, luckily they have McDonald's as a food partner in the same building. I've been coming to this Chevron for a few years now and after one incident, I'm never coming back. I went inside the station and paid $30 in cash on pump 6. I tried to pump gas in my car but the pump kept saying "waiting for approval...", Naturally I waited. After waiting 3-4 minutes I go back inside and tell the cashier my issue. She said that I said pump 4 and not 6, and proceeds to run to the back of the store without any further word. Apparently she told the manager and they decided to watch the CCTV to see if I actually said 6 or 4?? They couldn't decipher what I actually said so the manager tells me that she can't determine if it was my fault or the cashier's fault. She proceeds to explain to me that if I came in right after I discovered the issue they could've helped, the cashier could've stopped the guy at pump 4 from using my gas money etc. They clearly thought that I was in the wrong. I was there for an hour trying to get this sorted out. Management clearly has no idea how to manage, she didn't even come up to talk to me, another cashier showed me to back to talk to her after I waited half an hour. She ended up giving me $20 credit to pump my gas, but what's the difference between $20 and $30 if it means keeping a customer? This is the worse customer service I've ever experienced. This is a very simple and easy location to get in and out . This station has a built in MacDonald . What attracted me today was the gas price at 3.59 that is awesome. When I filled up this was some great gas as my CRV returned a gas mileage of close to 30MPG. (MSA) The was to get more gas in your car is to go to a pump when its cold so less gasoline will evaporate. Pump gas slowly and do not top it off. This Chevron is my neighborhood and has been my favorite gas station due to its competitive price and my personal inclination of the brand until today. With the global pandemic virus outbreak and the Governor's statewide order execution, more stores and businesses are either closed or restrained to a very small amount of people to go in for the sake of reducing the infection rate and safety among people. Yet this gas station is setting more unnecessary procedures such as to fill a form or a piece of paper inside of the store if you intend to pay with your credit card. Today. I was trying to pay gas with my credit card as usual, after a few attempts, it always showed on the screen that you need to go inside to pay or pay here with a debit card. I will never jeopardize or take the risk of using my debit card in public gas station so I had no choice of going inside. As soon as I walked in, there were 6 people without any physical protection in line with the distance less than a feet from each other waiting for the cashier. I was told by an Asian male with mask on that I had to wait in line to fill a paper of form for credit card use. I asked how can this never happened before for the hundreds of other times in the past? He answered me this is the new rule from now on. I was really irritated and pissed off by their reckless, absurd and irresponsible act during this extreme sensitive and rough period. I will boycott this station from now on and urge everyone to do the same unless you feel comfortable cuddle with people in absolute no protection to sign whatever damn paper they demanded for credit card use.
