However, we also found her to be abrasive, sarcastic, and dramatic when it came to managing the relationship with us. It was disappointing that Jessica showed little patience in working through my 86-year-old mom's concerns. From the beginning, Golden State made the entire process easy, and we finished everything in 3 weeks. It only took us 2.5 hours total of our time: an introductory 1 hour meeting to figure out everything needed, a second 1 hour meeting to understand all the paperwork and designate the right people. I spent 30 minutes of my own time to fill out the names, addresses, and phone numbers of each key person on our paperwork. It was all done in an easy to use & confidential shared folder system. I had my trust done by a different lawyer 7 years ago and the experience was very poor - filled out a questionnaire, never met with the lawyer in person or by video, trust sent with numerous errors and typos, etc. It was no better than what I could have gotten from an online cheap legal service. I recently had changes that required me to redo my trust and GST came highly recommended so I gave them a try. The experience was amazing. I provided some initial info in advance of a call with the lawyer. In the call we went through everything in detail and made sure all my needs were covered. When trust was ready we had another live review with the lawyer and then notary was done through virtual notary. Final trust was delivered in a binder, well organized with funding instructions clearly outlined. Actual trust has zero typos or errors and was much more comprehensive than my original.
