Overall my H&R Block experience has exceeded every expectation I had. I worked with Karen Barkley for both my 2023 and 2025 filings, and she has been nothing short of exceptional. In 2024, I was in the middle of relocating between states and decided to return to a prior in person tax professional in San Diego. I thought it would be the safest option before moving to Wisconsin. Unfortunately, I was advised not to file for 2024. Fast forward to 2026, after a seamless 2025 filing with H&R Block, my 2024 taxes suddenly became a serious issue while I was applying to schools and working through FAFSA. One of the biggest decisions of my life in my mid 30s felt like it was at risk, at least in the moment. I was completely overwhelmed, honestly panicking, and in tears.
