We're really happy with our time at Moore so far with my 2 year old. At previous schools we'd get…read morenonstop phone calls about him not staying on his mat during nap, not handling transitions well, not interacting with kids the same way other kids do, playing with the dirt or bark too much while outside, etc. The teachers at Moore have done a beautiful job meeting him where he's at and providing an environment that lets him be himself while still learning how to be in a class environment. From day 1 with Moore we noticed a big difference. He's much more regulated, he actually naps (!!!), he's made friends and he genuinely enjoys going to school each day. The app allows for direct communication with his teacher if needed and we get updates all day on what he's up to. The teachers are friendly but still firm with the kids when needed which is great. They do a ton of activities including learning numbers, letters, their names, doing sensory activities, practicing fine and gross motor skills, etc. Moore isn't going to be your standard daycare center with pristine rooms and strict schedules. They're a daycare center with a home daycare feel. My son often comes home covered in dirt with shoes full of sand and we LOVE it. We like that you can tell the kids have played all day because it means they got to be kids.

Moore Learning was a beautiful experience for our daughter. As an educator myself, I was very keen…read moreon touring various preschools and looking for qualities that make me feel like my child is going to grow and is safe. Their philosophy is much more creative and evidence-based, promoting more independence and exploration which was refreshing compared to the other preschools I toured. The interior is very homey, clean, and creative. They are always making upgrades and changing it up, keeping it refreshed. The cost is comparable to other preschools I toured. The teachers are phenomenal. My girl had Ms. Emma, Ms. Tasha, and Ms. Esther. I love the clear communication, and they were all so patient and sweet but still had high expectations for the kiddos. Moore's uses an app to check in and out. I got so many adorable pictures of my girl throughout the day with updates on what she was doing and what she ate that made me feel at ease. Ms. Yasmeen is the assistant director, always at the site. She is so sweet and helpful. She loves the kids, always getting them little trinkets for special occasions and helping out in all areas. Moore's curriculum is very organized with themes changing each month like space, sea animals, cooking, and so on. The art is actually made by the students themselves to encourage creativity. By the end, my girl was drawing her whole family on many of the art projects she brought back. Quite a bit of focus on handwriting as well, which I appreciated. The kiddos get an abundance of playtime outside with all the cool obstacles and activities they have out there. Moore has many guest presenters like Dan the pirate who come and talk about their professions. My girl learned so much and would always tell me little facts that she learned at school. Moore's has a plethora of events throughout the year. My girl attended the Thanksgiving, Easter Egg Hunt, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day Tea Party and so on. There are many others such as the Trunk-or-Treat and pretty much something for every holiday. They also do free photoshoots with Santa and the Easter Bunny! Overall, I am overly pleased with the experience here. My girl made so many friends and even got invited to her first birthday party here from a classmate. I feel very blessed and thankful for Moore Learning and I highly recommend!!

My older children who are now in grade school miss it so much and have fond memories and life-long friends who they see at annual alumni events. Ms. Taz has a ton of experience and her presence brings calm not just her students but to parents as well! The practical skills that they learn are so wonderful in addition to other experiential learning opportunities like field trips, story book days, Holi, and more! We had mixed luck with his teachers, and I was left wanting a closer relationship with the person spending a bulk of the day with my child. From the moment I met Ms. Taz in her classroom for a tour, I felt an instant sense of calm and connection. My son felt comfortable enough to start interacting with the classroom materials. Not to mention, it felt pretty amazing to see a South Asian woman of color (just like me) leading the classroom. Over the last 2 years, I've been able to see my son gain independence, social skills, and learn how to be respectful. Ms. Taz is always available to answer any concerns or questions that I may have. I feel comfortable approaching her, and appreciate the small and diverse classroom size which fosters a close relationship between my son and other students in the classroom. As a newish parent, it has also been comforting to finally have a small community of parent friends that we spend time with and can depend on. I can't wait till our baby girl is old enough to be an LLM student.

Each of them entered kindergarten not only prepared academically but also socially and emotionally ready to thrive. The teachers at Peace Preschool are truly remarkable--patient, compassionate, and so skilled at nurturing a love for learning in every child. They create an environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to explore. The curriculum strikes the perfect balance between structured learning and creative play, fostering curiosity and independence. One of the things we've appreciated most is how much Peace Preschool emphasizes building strong social skills and character. Our kids learned kindness, teamwork, and conflict resolution, which have carried over into their relationships and classroom behavior in kindergarten. As a parent, I always felt completely at ease knowing my children were in such capable and caring hands. The communication from the staff is excellent, and the entire community of families is warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a preschool that will give your children the foundation they need to excel in school and beyond, look no further than Peace Preschool. I can't recommend it enough!

I want to start this review as a warning to other parents considering this KinderCare location,…read moreespecially if your child is on the autism spectrum. Last week, I toured the center and informed Angelina that my son has ASD. She suggested we do a trial day, which was scheduled for today. When we arrived, we waited about five minutes before someone named Gabby opened the door. She asked, "Is this the 4-year-old that's doing a trial?" but never asked for his name, whether he had any allergies, or if he was potty trained--basic information any center should ask upfront. I offered that information anyway, but it was never requested. Another red flag: before leaving, I was asked to jot down my name and number on a sticky note. I was confused because they should have already had that from our initial visit. Even more concerning--they never had me sign any kind of consent form, agreement, or emergency contact document before leaving my child in their care. That is not only unprofessional, it's unsafe. Less than 20 minutes after dropping him off, I received a call saying he was crying and trying to elope--something my son has never done before. They told me to come get him and said he wasn't a good fit. It felt like no one made a true effort to comfort or support him during what should've been an adjustment period. When I arrived, they took me to where my son was, in the very back in the corner. When I grabbed my son, and was walking out. I looked behind me and all the teachers stayed back. I had to go out my way to ask to speak with Angelina. I could tell I was being talked about, and the atmosphere felt extremely uncomfortable. When I expressed how I felt that my son wasn't even given a chance, Angelina shrugged and said it was a safety issue. I left feeling discriminated against and heartbroken. It's clear this facility either lacks the training to support autistic children or chooses not to. Either way, I strongly advise parents--especially those with special needs children--to look elsewhere. Your child deserves patience, preparation, and above all, respect.

You will not find a better pre-school for your child in Elk Grove…read more I contacted EGMS way back in 2021 while I was still pregnant with my son. While on the phone with the owner Sara, I got teary eyed (I might have cried a little) as I realized from that conversation I had found my kids preschool. I knew my son would be safe, loved, and well educated. I signed him up that day knowing that he was too young to attend but that at 18 months he would be in safe hands. Fast forward 5 years later, my son graduated and goes to elementary school and my daughter still attends. The teachers are amazing. Toddler teacher Mimi is wonderful. She just gets kiddos, period. Ms Cheryl is still my son's favorite teacher. I could continue on endlessly about how EGMS has made the preschool experience so amazing.

We believe all the EGM staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the students. We have complete confidence knowing our kids are in such good hands every day. Directors and every single teachers are always welcoming, nice and so friendly which makes it so much easier to leave toddlers on rough mornings. The ratio of teacher to kids is the best part, all kids get personalized attention and care. I am not even exaggerating, they all get their own set of stationary with names labeled, every day my toddler mentions about something new she's learned and shows work at the end of the week (pretty amazing!) especially for parents who really want balance between play and learning in pre-school. Having been through Goddard and KinderCare I thought we just had to compromise on overall cleanliness/hygiene of the center and kids being covered in food, snot, colors, dirt and marks. Nope! this preschool is so clean and well maintained every single day! they all look so clean at the end of the day because they really make an effort to keep up with the hygiene. They don't have any apps or digital portal for update and it took us some time to adjust but to be honest in pre-school it's not really a big deal. We've never had any situation where we've felt the need to know every single update of the day. They pay such good attention to each child that if we really wanted to know about how much they ate, frequency of potty time etc. they easily update us verbally at end of the day. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our decision. Just seeing all kids being loved and cared by every single teacher is so heart warming. Really appreciate LFM family for proving such a safe and happy environment for our kids in Elk Grove location.
