We had our garage doors installed, installation and price was just ok. However after a few months…read morelater the plastic trim on inside of door windows started cracking and the screws rusting. Edison came back and removed window panels and had new improved windows installed at factory. A year later all the door trim started to discolour. Edison said factory is having issues with dark colour plastic trim. He suggested I use a blow dryer to get the colour to come back. These people know about the product flaws with cracking and fading plastic but continue to use this product. I've tried having my faded trim replaced but they are not returning my texts or calls. Warning, do not use this company they are unprofessional and once they have your money they don't care.

It was not a a professional instal and I have had so many issues with the door. I got what was supposed to be quality door and quality instal. The windows on the door frame is warping and the color has faded, windows are loose! Weatherstripping was not cut professionally and two inches too short at the bottom letting in cold in my garage when the whole point of changing my garage door was to get an insulated quality door to keep the garage warmer, I have had worse issue than my older door that was in good condition and at least operating properly! The worst issue with this new door Edison Canizares installed is that the door is crooked, not installed properly... for example one side of the door presses so hard on the ground while the other side, barely touches the ground and I have called a few other repair man and they do not want to touch somebody else's work and keep telling me to call my installer, or take him to small camclaims court, becausehownhebleft the door is unacceptable! When you look at the top of the door, there's a good 1 inch difference and height and it's not a frame issue. The frame has been checked and it is even it's the door that's off! He refuses to come out and fix it and install proper weather striping. The door was also installed with scratches and I have been waiting for over two years for him to drop off paint like he promised to do touchups on the door. Being the trustworthy person that I am, I paid him in full and failed to even inspect the door properly prior to him leaving. He came across as a very nice person and I trusted him, but he obviously was fake because what he did was very unkind to leave me like this for over two years! If you like to see the door for yourself before hiring this company, feel free to reach out (on face book where I left the same review on their page) and I will give you my address to come see it! It takes me a lot to leave bad reviews for companies and I even begged them to come fix the door issues because I didn't want to leave a bad review! They didn't even answer me! Having said all that I am hoping this will save someone the headache that they put me through and the disappointment because I saved for years for my new garage door! Shawn came out to our house, arriving when he said he would. He gave us a detailed written quotation and the price was right. His crew arrived on time to work. They worked quickly but carefully. I could tell that they have a lot of experience. They worked in the driveway and the garage, and cleaned up as they went along. They did everything that Shawn said they would do. The new doors look great, and are as quiet as Shawn had said they would be.

It has been 4 months since a technician came by to take pictures of our issues and we have not heard anything since. They are easy and fun to purchase from. Maybe this is a one off situation but the follow up to installation issues or manufacturer defects needs more attention. Still love our garage door and feel it was worth the money invested.

In May, 2017 we had Ken Amy measure for a replacement rollup canvas awning and a foldup canvas…read moreawning replacement. He took down the foldup frame. Within a couple of weeks his team installed the new rollup canvas. Well done. Then the problems started. He kept promising to return the finished foldup awning. Over and over. Same story others have reported. We visited the shop when he wouldn't answer the phone or emails. He promised the awning was out on the truck and would be installed that day. We didn't believe him and demanded that he return our deposit and the awning. We waited in his office while he made an etransfer. A few days later he dropped off the foldup awning frame - canvas removed. Just like all the other reviewers, Ken Amy shafted/scammed us and lied repeatedly. Look elsewhere for awning services in the Waterloo Region.

We contacted this company - the owner is Ken Amy - in June 2022. We had a contract to have repairs…read moredone on our trailer. He agreed to replace screens on windows due to holes, replace moldy window and broken window. Replace broken zipper on window and replace ripped bottom vinyl part on one side. One roof had a patch - didn't leak but to make it "better/ nicer". He promised to have the job done mid July 2022. At the end of July after multiple calls he just dropped the canvas off with explanation - he just patched it and will fix most of the requested changes later. After we opened the canvas, we found out he put patches over the screen holes. He sew a patch on roof and I saw sun through the stitches so we did a water test and only after few minutes water was dripping into the trailer. He made a hole on one side of the canvas. He thinks that the zipper is better in black and only one sided so we can't even open the window without opening the whole window. No fabric or screens were replaced. The work was bad and unfinished. We dropped it back at his shop and asked him to have the order done properly. He claims he does not have material to fix it and will do it sometimes in the future i don't agree with this proposal. He refuses to return the money we paid upfront and he even is threatening to sue us. Don't hire this company - Ken . He will scam you and hide from you.
