My friend and I inadvertently ended up at Goldhopfen after trying to go to Stoned, and we were happy that we made this mistake. The beers at Goldhopfen were cheap and good; the bartender was very interesting and clearly had a passion for service and bartending. We each had a couple of the local Weiße Elster pale ales and sat out at a small table on the sidewalk. Although we didn't spend much time inside, it looked like there was a variety of games to play and areas to sit. We were also able to get some beers to-go upon leaving.
