BEWARE! Dr. Mentzer is the Worst Chiropractor I've Ever Seen!!! This guy is a liar, thief, and just…read morea down right crook. He should not be doing chiropractic work. I was in a car accident and I went to Dr. Mentzer for treatment of my injuries. I had my X-ray done and it showed that I had middle back slight dislocation, the lower back L5-S1 herniation and the coccyx (tailbone) was twisted to the left. However, Dr. Mentzer told me that I have multiple sclerosis developed from my childhood and he started to treat me. Two minutes of muscle relaxes electrodes and a minute of cracking my body (which does nothing, just let the gas out and makes it worse if you have serious problems) The days when I came to his "treatment" would make me feel worse than before I saw him. Couple times I fainted home same day after the treatment and even worse that the last time I went there I fainted right in the car as I drove only two block away. He would always made jokes and stupid comments like are you sure you fainted, are you sure you have pain in here etc. Than, the worsen time came when I could not move for 5 days in the row, severe shooting pain and numbness of half of my body throughout few weeks as I was continuing seeing him. This is when I realized that there is something really wrong with me. As I came back to him, all he did is laugh at my problem and told me that maybe I felt somewhere meanwhile that is why I have problem with tailbone now (all this time he had my X-ray with the twisted coccyx) and again nothing was done accept that muscle relaxer treatment. The pain was not going away, so I went to see another chiropractor and what a surprise! I don't have a sclerosis I have injury from my car accident that I had described above. I was refered to Dr. Mentzer by some Christian...but there is no Cristianity in his actions if he takes advantages of people and exercise chiropractic abuse. I am scared of those kind of people who playing with your health especially when you really need a help. Avoid this place and God bless you in finding the right one!
