When I opened the box I saw the device was scuffed and discolored. Upon plugging it in, I noticed that the display was not working properly. The numbers were illegible when scrolling. I took it to 'Guitar Center' and the tech told me unit was broken. In addition to the display, the left footswitch was intermittent. I sent Fares Pawn a message, explained that the device was broken when I received it, and would like to return it for a refund. I waited a couple of days, but heard nothing back. I finally got a clerk on the phone, 'Stevie', who told me 'it worked' when they shipped it, but she would 'talk to the owner about a return' and get back to me. Again, I never heard back from them. I finally was able to contact the owner by phone and he it was sold 'as is' and they would not refund my money. It's obvious they are buying junk off the street and 'reselling ' it.

It was difficult for me to load both bicycles into my Toyota Corolla and drive them there given that I live on the other side of town several miles from Covert & Weinbach Ave. I arrived in their parking lot & unloaded one of my vintage bicycle when two guys suddenly came out of the store - one of them abruptly asked, "Are you the guy that called about the vintage bicycles?" (Proving that he knew I called first!) I said, "Yes." Then he informed me that they do not accept vintage bicycles "only mountain bikes" ! With Caller I.D. on their phone - they could have called me back to tell me their mistake! ALSO - from the start - the careless woman employee could have asked if they accept "vintage bikes" rather then tell me wrong & cause my huge wasted trip! I found their behavior to be unprofessional & disrespectful !
