AVOID AVOID AVOID - Stayed for 2 nights before being moved to their sister hotel on the third. This hotel is best avoided as the safety issues alone in the hotel were disgusting - they have several windows accessible to kids which open up completely with a 15' drop beyond and also have 4mm plywood in the place of tempered glass on the 5th floor smoking area. We first noticed it when a child was kicking the centre..... No hot water, wifi and most of the staff couldnt care less. Had the unfortunate experience of trying to get dinner there to be told "its either the set menu at €40 or nothing"......The eggs in the breakfast also included shell and after the first waitress ignored me the second looked me straight in the eye, smilled and said "Yep" before walking away. Rooms were musty and damp which made our little asthma sufferer worse..... If youre looking for a hotel in Ballybunion its best you stay well away from this place as it has left a very bad taste in my mouth about the town, which is a shame as the vast majority of the town were very apologetic from the moment they heard we were staying there read more
