When I asked her to repeat the email back to me (since she got it wrong) , she pronounced my name wrong multiple times, and when I corrected her, she got flustered and hung up the phone. She was condescending, and seemed a little racist, considering my last name is really not hard to pronounce. I had to call back multiple times to speak to a supervisor or corporate, since she still could not provide the receipt. She went on a verbal tirade and slammed the phone. Update: Debbie ended up sending the receipt, however she spammed my personal inbox with 25+ reservation confirmations from my stay over a month ago. She has made this process difficult. I will have to reconsider my hotel selection in the future, thanks to her lack of professionalism.

For my experience: The hotel staff were patient and excellent to work with while sorting out a corporate/gov't payment card that took a few days to iron out. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious I never used the pool or hot tub but they looked nice and inviting (note to self: pack a swim suit!). The breakfast options were plentiful and changed daily. The on-site laundry facility was a great bonus -- convenient and affordable. The hotel manager went out of his way to ensure my extended stay was good. I appreciated that personal touch. I was even assisted with enrolling in the Wyndham Rewards Program, which earned me Platinum status due to my length of stay... and earned Wyndham a new loyal customer. Neither of us received an email confirmation but we showed up anyway, hoping we'd have a place to lay our heads at night. We arrived and there were no cars in the parking lot. There was one employee at the desk. I had a reservation, while my colleague did not. Luckily, they were able to give her the same rate. There is no elevator so pack lightly - there are two stairways. When we were first checking in, the stairs in the entryway to the building were locked and unable to be opened, which made it hard to pull my wheels bag up the stairs. The keys are not a swipe or an insert, but simply a touch on an electronic pad on the door, which I liked. There are Neutrogena products in the bathroom in case you forget your personal hygiene products. They offer two king beds and one king bed rooms. There are three remotes, which is kind of confusing, but there are a ton of cable channels. A fridge, coffeemaker and microwave are here for all of your needs with Wolfgang Puck coffee and accompaniments. The bed is cozy with an adequate amount of pillows. I can hear car doors closing from the second floor over the tv, but otherwise it's pretty quiet. The three star rating is really based on these things: 1. Difficulty trying to make a reservation 2. No elevator 3. Locked door in entryway.

We first arrived to our room that we booked on a 3rd party app. 1st observation was…read moretowel was stained with yellow looking substance. 2nd observation was the temperature in the room would not heat, cranked the thermostat to 84 and left to shop for 3 hours. Once arriving the room was still 55 degrees. Room 234. I brought this to the front desk attention and he gave us a replacement room (233). He wanted us to pack everything up and bring back to the desk to get new room keys. Very inconvenient, I suggested he book us out of 234, give us room keys for 233 and come with us to retrieve our items to shift to the room right next to it. That worked. Once in room 233 the 3rd observation was the sink would not drain, the plug was activated and luckily I was able to reach under the sink to open the plug for sink to drain. 4th observation the carpet, discusting, stains everywhere. Hotel can rent a rug shampooer from the mall next door to it to clean these stains properly. 5th observation there was extremely poor water pressure which made showering take 3 times as long. 6th observation was the beds were hard, felt like I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood. 7th observation was towels in pool area were not stocked for beginning of day we had to go to the front desk to get towels. 8th observation during breakfast all garbage were overflowing and I had to mention to staff that we couldn't discard our trash as there was no more room in all 3 garbage. 9th observation if you would like a quiet stay it likely will not happen as rooms were by the pool and by 8am we woke to kids screaming and playing in the pool. With all this said I potentially would stay again if the price was right. I personaly would not pay more than $60 usd per night as that's what I would value the stay at. There is plenty of room for improvement, some preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, keeping up on regular cleanliness, and making sure the customers don't need to ask for towels or to throw items in the garbage.

The bed, however, was hard. It felt like I was sleeping on a box spring and not a mattress. I did appreciate that the mattress was encased in a mattress protector. The pillows were great and I was able to use those to support my back and make the bed a bit more comfy. This was my first experience at CanadInn and as a Marriott enthusiast I can see why this hotel offers rooms at such a value. My stay wasn't horrible and could have been 3 to 3-5 stars if the mattress (most important part of any hotel stay) were improved. Check with the front desk on vouchers for the tavern, I believe you can buy one for $10 that provides $20 worth of food. Plenty of parking and elevators, the hotel was kept clean and was quiet.

What was difficult about this was that it was difficult to see the TV from the bed and the volume would have had to have been up, and I didn't want to bother my neighbors so I watched TV on my phone.
