Al Arnold, Market 32 Wilton Floral Manager: I have requested floral boxes for the past 5 years from Al to transport (over a 4 week period during the summer racing season), 240 bagged lunches prepared by volunteers for the St. Cement's Outreach Program and tranported to the Rec Hall on Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs. The lunches are to welcome Backstretch families coming up from Belmont to visit, for the day, their family member working here during the summer racing meet. On the two alternating weeks("Dark Days") bagged lunches are made for a bus load of workers traveling down to Belmont to be with family or attend to business. As trivial as it sounds, these boxes could be discarded once unloaded but Al and his staff are so accommodating and thoughtful regarding our project. It certainly adds a warm touch of support and community involvement to our group located within the Saratoga Springs community.
