However, months later, she consistently issued rulings that reflected what YOUNG BERMAN KARPF & KARPF wanted, even when those rulings conflicted with Florida law and U.S. law. Many attorneys I spoke with seemed to be aware of this firm's reputation. Some immediately declined to take my case, while others told me they believed the firm had significant influence over the judge. Andy Wilson attempted to build a false parental kidnapping narrative against me together with my ex-husband for $15,000, claiming that I intended to abduct my children. During the proceedings, Andy Wilson filed only the cover page of my ex-husband's financial affidavit in the court docket, while my attorney showed me the complete version on his computer. Based on my personal experience, YOUNG BERMAN KARPF & KARPF is capable of intimidating or improperly influencing other attorneys. Perhaps a class action lawsuit or an appeal to a higher court could help, although I worry that the firm's influence may extend there as well.
