    Good Day Omelet

Great cafe spot I found while working an event at Six Flags. Great atmosphere with great people and great service. Was greeted immediately upon entering and very spacious location. Also has outdoor seating, but it was a bit cold so we chose indoor seating. Order the Good Say Omelet and it was delicious. The bacon and Hash browns very crispy. Service was slow in the beginning, but got better over time.

It's a good place for breakfast/lunch in downtown Vallejo. The service is pretty good and they are pretty busy on the weekends Wifey got the Homemade corn beef hash with fried rice and eggss. She liked it and so did I. My order was simple bacon and eggs with steam rice. Very basic but that's my go to when I can't make up my mind. The place has dine in and outside sitting with restrooms in the back. Our overall experience was good and a spot we shall return too.

Quite a yummy breakfast! As a former Vallejoan, I can't believe I've never been here before! I had the two biscuits and gravy, and I was not expecting how big the plate would be. But they were the fluffiest biscuits, and the gravy was great. I also got a side of bacon (crispy!) and it came out perfect. What a nice morning!

Fresh cornbread with honeybutter was delicious!

Good Day Cafe is a crown jewel of a restaurant! My wife and I ventured here for our first breakfast experience and were highly impressed with everything from the moment we entered the café, we were greeted and seated immediately. We shared a breakfast and really enjoyed the crab omelet, it was huge and packed with fresh crabmeat! The three egg omelet was perfect for sharing! We ordered it with the amazingly delicious bacon fried rice and the fresh warm cornbread with honeybutter! We enjoyed outstanding service from the waitstaff and especially Seriana! She was a real pleasure serving us! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, very inviting! Thank you very much for a wonderful breakfast experience! We'll see you again soon!

Hubby and I came here for a late breakfast and it was first time here since the new year. Wow they updated the interior and food presentation since the last time I was here. The place seems brighter and more open to be and I loved it. Even the bathroom was brighter as it was dark for me in the past. I got my fave the hash and eggs plate and it did not disappoint. The service here was great as always along with all the workers being friendly. Hubby got bacon and eggs and enjoyed his food too. The coffee was good and kept filled too. Glad to still be able to come back and enjoy.

This is a great spot for breakfast/lunch! My lady and I had a day off together and ended up here for breakfast! YES, I had a cheeseburger for breakfast and I have no regrets. I was very enthusiastic to eat it when it arrived that I burned my tongue but it was VERY flavorful. My lady ordered India's Chicken Pesto and it was a hit! Service was very pleasant. The crowd is very small town so I enjoyed that it wasn't crowded. There's something relaxing about the sounds of a cafe staff cooking and tending to their clients. We will be coming back for more.

It was our first time here, we were here for a car show. This was one of the only places nearby to get breakfast. That being said, this place was packed, and there was a waiting list. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated in no time. This place was a lot bigger on the inside than I thought. They had 2 entrances/ exits, and through each room was a dining area. I believe there is possibly another room in the back and outdoor seating. Looking around you can tell this place has been here for a while, since 1998 I believe. The lady who helped us was super nice, and she took her time with us. We were a party of 14. She wasn't rushing us with how busy they were. Our food was out in no time, and you could taste the quality of the food. I thoroughly appreciated how delicious the food was, even with all the hustle and bustle of everything. My husband and I ordered: 1. Short stack of pancakes: You have the option to have it thin and crispy. We just had it the regular way. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery. The syrup was even piping hot. 2. Hearty country breakfast: They did not skimp on the gravy with the biscuits and gravy. I'm happy I decided to go with sausage patties. It was heaven in every bite. This place was amazing, and I definitely can't wait to come back soon. There are so many more items I want to try

I really like this place. The food is good, and it's genuinely special to dine somewhere that has been in business for so long. There's a lot of charm here, and I can see why people enjoy it. That said, I'm giving this feedback in the spirit of helpfulness, not criticism. I think service in restaurants generally has shifted lately, and I would love to see this place stand out by bringing back more attentiveness and hospitality. Our waitress was very sweet, and I could tell she was a kind person. However, after our meal, our plates were never picked up. She dropped off the bill, came back for the card, returned the card, and walked by several times to help nearby customers, but our dirty plates stayed in front of us the entire time. We were sitting on the patio, enjoying a conversation while waiting for our vehicle to be repaired, and it would have made such a difference to have the table cleared and maybe a warm-up on the coffee. For people who enjoy coffee, especially those of us over 50, sitting and chatting after a meal is part of the dining experience. We're not necessarily trying to rush out the door just because the check has been paid. Hospitality doesn't end when the card is run. My friend purchased the meal and likely tipped around 20%, but honestly, I would have happily tipped extra if the plates had been cleared and the coffee had been refreshed. Small things like that really matter. They make customers feel cared for instead of forgotten. I'm not giving a lower rating to be harsh. I actually believe this waitress is capable of five-star service, and I believe this restaurant is too. I just hope management will continue training servers on the little timelines and details that make a meal feel truly hospitable: checking coffee, reading body language, clearing plates, and not leaving guests feeling kinda dumped after they've paid ( and even tipped well) This place has so much going for it. With just a little more attention to the guest experience, I think it could be even better. This definitely doesn't hold me back from dining here again however, I probably will politely speak up next time or not tip

This is the best breakfast place ever! The food is amazing! I had thin and crispy pancakes with eggs and bacon. I'm stuffed - I just couldn't finish. My daughter had the sunrise omelet with bacon fried rice and cornbread. Just so scrumptious! I can't forget the hot cocoa! Our waitress Evelin was so efficient and sweet! We will be back with more family.

OK it's been along time since I had food from this restaurant. . My car was broken down this morning so I ordered via DoorDash . We both had the chicken fried steak with red potatoes and fried eggs . The food showed up warm and the eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The chicken fried steak and potatoes were both good and portions good size. The good news with the DoorDash discount and tipping the driver I paid 42 bucks. The bad news is had I went to the physical restaurant I would have ended up paying about 54 dollars for breakfast (without drinks) which is way too much. I wish you all well but the high menu costs are why I don't come here anymore

Listen up Vallejo, if you want the best breakfast, this is the place to be. we were seated, fantastic coffee was brought out almost as soon as we sat down. We ordered, and it got to the table incredibly fast. I look forward to coming back for that bread pudding

Went on a Sunday afternoon with family. Such a homey local welcoming restaurant. Everything that we ordered was delicious! Portions were huge and we all had leftovers. Customer service was excellent!

There is a dedicated parking lot, tight but can hold a decent amount of cars. There is street parking as well, not metered - that is where I parked. The hostess was extremely friendly and attentive, checking in on us several times after ordering to notify of the food's ETA as well as refilling drinks and seeing if we needed anything. The dining area has approximately ten booths in total and became quite crowded around 12:30p. Our meals arrived at different times, items to eat meal arrived sparsely as well. We ordered around 11:30a, there were two other parties present. We were able to order based on our dietary needs/wants as the menu offered quite a diverse array. The crab omelette (known as The California Omelette on the menu) is 1/4 lb of fresh crab served either hot or cold enclosed in three eggs along with avocado and Monterey Jack cheese. For $26.35 the omelette left much to be desired, especially in flavor and seasoning. Nothing complimented or even enhanced the presence of the crab in any way. The remaining party at the table said they enjoy their meal - including a blueberry waffle, toast and eggs with bacon and a double cheeseburger with fries. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to gather, this cafe is certainly an option to consider. It was easy to speak and hear each other with ample privacy and not a lot of traffic - if any.

I got super comfy town diner feels when sitting down like if you come here often all of the regulars will know your name hahaha The PLUS is that they had the morning news up on their TV so I felt like I was at home since I usually catch up with what's going on in the world first thing in the morning. I ordered the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK and ooooohhhhh weeeee! It was perfect! It came with 2 perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs, hash browns, and a good sized chicken fried steak that was topped with gravy that at first bite just gives you that home cooked/ soul filling feel! The sourdough toast was generously buttered with an assortment of jams on the table to choose from.
