Cons: Unorganized (we asked several people who were serving where children's ministry was held and the common response was "I'm not sure." or "I think it's this way."), the children's ministry was more like babysitting than ministry curriculum (watching Veggie Tales and random coloring pages). People in the choir were still going up on stage to join the group well after service started...like 10-15 minutes after. The service lasted about 2 hours (the pastor said he was speaking longer than usual that day). Overall, I had a great experience and would go again.

Worship & Atmosphere: The worship is modern and well-produced without feeling like a concert for its own sake. Lyrics are easy to follow, the sound mix is clear, and there's a sincere focus on engaging the congregation rather than performing at them. Lighting and tech enhance the service but don't distract from it. Teaching & Theology: Messages are Bible-centered, practical, and paced well. The pastors do a great job connecting Scripture to real life--marriage, work, forgiveness, and serving others--while keeping things accessible for newcomers and still substantive for regulars. Expect clear calls to action, not just inspiration. Community & Next Steps: Rock City makes it easy to plug in. Small groups and serve teams are highlighted clearly, and there are multiple on-ramps for people at different stages of faith. It is wonderful to band together with people from all walks of life and worship God. You don't get such a cross section of society anywhere more than at church. I have been to churches where the only people singing are the people on stage. Not so here. Participation in the worship is ubiquitous. Family Bible Class starts at 9:30 am on Sundays. The morning worship service is at 10:45. The choir sings each Sunday from September to June, and it is really an exceptional group! Don't miss the Christmas concert!

It's beautiful to see so many different races/ethnicities worshiping together. The Children's ministry is amazing - kids LOVE it here. The music is SO GOOD. They do a great mix of classics as well as contemporary and gospel. The pastor and ministry team are so Godly, humble and dedicated to serving the church and community (they did food/supply drives for the community during COVID).The preaching is Biblical. They preach and teach Truth, which is important to my family and I. We don't want to just hear "feel good" sermons that leave us complacent and stagnant. We want to grow to be better Christians and community members. Calvary has been a huge part of facilitating that growth. We are better Christians for having found Calvary!

I liked all the singers and the lectors. They were engaging. The church is really pretty and so open! I couldn't help but stare the whole time. Parking lot isn't bad. I'd suggest parking on the side furthest from the road as so many cars would line up and I couldn't leave the lot for a good five minutes. I love seeing that so many people attend church. It's so uplifting. I only wish that they'd fix the situation with the mic. I couldn't hear the priest very well or one of the lectors. They needed to lean a little more into the mic. It was mostly families and elderly folks here. That's the demographic in UA and it made me feel a little out of place. I guess all the young adults and the diversity is at St Christopher, so I'm told.
