Place is just okay, server is incredibly sweet waited about 40 minutes to be sat. Ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer they were cold inside, cheese was not melted. I write this review because this place, which is really in a place, that shouldn't be a place. Located right off the 91 freeway in Corona, GoodFella's Cafe is an unassuming structure that I would barely notice as I was driving by. However, the parking lot behind the restaurant was quite full when I arrived at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. I was coming from Long Beach, and meeting a friend from Riverside, so we chose this restaurant at random since it seemed a mid point. The interior is classic old style. Lots of wood, plenty of booths, a beer and wine bar (this is basically a lunch counter) and standard two top tables. I arrived early, and was seated immediately. My server was friendly with a smile. You could tell without asking that she had worked here for sometime, and appeared to enjoy her work. She promptly brought me an iced tea that I had requested while waiting for my friend to arrive. I took the opportunity to peruse the menu, which was quite extensive. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although I can't testify as to what the breakfast and dinner crowd was like, I would confidently wager that they do a brisk business all day. Once I was joined by my friend, I ordered the Bishop pastrami sandwich. They serve pastrami 3 ways. Although my sandwich was very good, my friend got the Rueben, and I found myself envious of his sandwich. We both got a salad and fries as sides. Located on a small road. This cafe boosts a certain charm with its dedication to a cult classic film, "GoodFellas". The interior is a great homage to the streets of Italy. We always pass by here going to and from the freeway. Finally, we decided to step in and have breakfast on a random weekday. It was like we stepped into another time with all the GodFather memorabilia. Personally not my aesthetics, but hey if you're going to do a theme, go all out. And that is what they did. Because it was a weekday morning, time passed slowly inside - slower pace of life. We were warmly greeted and seated by a comfy booth. Coffee was decent and they kept it coming. I ordered the deuces entree with pancakes. It had eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Eggs were good. Bacon was on the saltier side. The pancakes were light and fluffly but broke apart easily when I tried to pick them up with a fork. No matter how small the piece I tried to pick with up my fork, it fell apart. GoodFella's great place to eat with good friends and coworkers. Was introduced to this place by coworkers when we came here to eat together. They are super busy during lunch time so you may want to come before the lunch rush or after. When we arrived around 11:15 Goodfella's was still serving breakfast. On the first visit I got the Fettuccine "Pesci" - grilled salmon over mushrooms, spinach, and feta cheese sautéed and blend cream sauce with fettuccine. The salmon was nicely grilled and the spinach along with fettuccine was not over cooked. On the second visit I got the Goodfella's Burger - four angus beef patties layered with bacon and Black Forest ham along with American cheese and Swiss cheese. This burger was massive and definitely a challenge to bite without compressing it. Definitely worth checking out The parking lot has lots of space, but can be packed during lunch time. read more

It has plenty of parking, another thing I like. One look at the menu and you know Goodfellas is named after the namesake 1990 movie. The picture of restrooms reinforced that connection. Before placing your order, you should know the portion size is enormous, enough to share. Its omelettes are made with 4 eggs and loads of goodies. It filled up the whole plate with no room to spare. I ordered the fried chicken steak with a side of biscuits & gravy. It was so much food, I almost couldn't finish it. The service here is great too. It's been a very long time since I last reviewed Goodfellas, but be assured, it still is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Corona. We have been loyal customers for at least 14 years (i.e. whenever they first opened) and love that the owners are so gracious and make a point to recognize and make a fuss over us each time we go. Their omelets are huge, 4 egg masterpieces that are superb in taste. Enough for 2 to share. If there is something on the "specials menu" (look for the blackboard on the cashier's counter as you enter) with house made hollandaise, don't even think twice. You will be pleased. The bacon and the coffee are so darn good. The hash browns are crispy, and again, house made. Everything they have here is made with quality ingredients. The menu is vast, so if not in the mood for breakfast , the hamburgers are outstanding. My son in law cannot resist the juicy, monster burger that comes with pastrami on top. Even their soups are house made. Their specials change daily. Dinnertime will put a smile on your face. Portions are larger than many of their competitors and make your dollar stretch. I credit it to a husband and wife team who put in thankless hours of hard work, decades of restaurant experience, and hires/keeps really well-trained chefs. Same goes for the servers; their attentiveness is really appreciated. Some of the servers have been there since they originally opened. It's a really attractive, well run cafe with a great atmosphere that will have you crooning and swooning to the background music that is authentic, canned Frank Sinatra et al. To our surprise on our last visit, they let famous Frank and all the other nostalgic crooners' take a break and brought on some live, Sunday Brunch jazz music. Our happy experience here gave us warm fuzzies and a comforting , virtual hug that, at last, Life is returning to normal and Covid shutdowns can be put to bed. We love it here! read more
