Ordered here for the first time tonight. Terrible. I was really disapointed because my son told me it was good...maybe it was a one time thing but I doubt it. Their extra large steak and cheese grinder was long, but it was skinny and weighed nothing. The steak was over cooked and dry, what there was of it, they didnt put mayo on, and the cheese was barely there. The cheesy garlic bread was cold and the cheese was rubbery. Good flavor, good portions, cute place. My husband and I stopped for a quick lunch and had the antipasto salad, which had crisp iceberg lettuce, onions, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, and was loaded with cheese and meat. We also ordered a Greek calzone, with cheese and spinach. It was huge, literally a folded pizza, which we nibbled and then boxed to go. Ordered a steak bomb, a toasted roast beef grinder, and chicken finger dinner. Steak bomb came out with lettuce and tomatoes. Complained and they said it was mentioned in the menu (in the side, italicized wording). Should be under the product in the menu, not on the side of the menu. Register woman came to our table and checked AGAIN which chicken combo we wanted. After she already rang up our total. She charged my card more because of her mess up. The extra 1.25 should have been on them. No way. They brought out my wife's toasted roast beef grinder with only the bun toasted. Another mess up. A joke. Amatuer hour. Goodie's is to be avoided at all costs. Their sandwiches are WAY too EXPENSIVE for what you get! ($11 for a steak and cheese?!) They have huge rolls ( about 15- 18 inches) filled with a tiny bit of steak (or other ingredient) and not much else. The amount of meat they use wouldn't fill two slices of wonder bread. They are VERY cheap and stingy on the portions here. The ingredients (meats, cuts, are LOW END and tasteless. The sub sandwiches are all HORRIBLE. Recently they stopped serving Roast beef- WHAT? maybe because nobody wants an $11 sandwich with 20 cents on Roast beef. I just don't get this place. I wish it were better. Staff is pretty cocky too- they need to revamp the biz plan here. Never had their pizza so can't comments. We gave them a few chances with sandwiches and shame on us. I am not trying to kill this place- I just want people to realize what they are getting if they are passing thru town looking for a place to go. I got stuck this way. A crappy $4 sub sucks but a crappy $11 sub really sucks. read more

Just moved to Greenfield and was craving a Chicken Caesar Salad, so I figured I'd try Goodies. Looked like a nice, clean place, and it was. I was a bit put off by the $10.00+ price - expected it would be around $8.00 - but since I didn't want do drive any further, I ordered it to go and hoped fr the best. Since it came in a stapled brown bag, I didn't see what I was given till I got home, and when I did I was amazed. The salad, cheese, and croutons were in a large plastic container that looked to be about a foot in diameter. The grilled chicken breast was in a separate container and was 2-3 times as much as I was expecting. Not to mention my order came with an 8" roll of garlic bread, and plastic utensils were in the bag as well, I guess "just in case". The Caesar dressing they included was more than enough for the huge salad, and I believe it was home-made, as it had separated a bit and had to be mixed back up before dousing my salad with it. The salad and the dressing were both great! Definitely well-worth the extra couple of bucks. When I mentioned at work the next day that I'd gone to Goodies and my Chicken Caesar Salad was so huge I should have saved half and gotten two meals out of it, my co-worker told me that's exactly what she does. I LOVE this place!!! I consider myself a regular here, and I keep a menu in my car. It is perfect for time-sensitive work lunches, the staff are all very friendly, restaurant is incredibly clean, and the food is delicious! Their pizza is redonk tasty, and their BLTs have way more bacon than most! I also really like their fries. However, I once had a burger there and I was very disappointed with it. I have only had a few items on their menu, so I cannot give a generalization as to whether or not most of their food is great. Therefore, I can really only recommend their BLT lunch and their pizza. They are very accommodating; I often have my own water bottle and they will bring me a glass with ice for my water. And I love that there are plenty of napkins on the table! Recently ordered a spinach salad. Qaulity was excellent everything was very fresh. The only negative was that the menu said all salads are for 2 people. I was a expecting a bigger serving. Had their pizza on several occasions its pretty good very comparable to Papa Johns. read more

The customer service culture is so bad, it outweighs how good the food might be. Good luck if your order is not right. Excuses and an attitude like they are doing you a favor, rather than you, them, for patronizing their business. Over the years, for example, I have been charged A TOPPING for sprinkled dried basil spice from a can, and have had a burnt pizza delivered when I asked for lightly baked, so I could put my fresh garden ingredients on. If you complain, they see you as a problem. I have sworn off ordering from them, and tonight made a mistake and tried them again. My grinder didn't have cheese, as ordered. I ordered 2 salads with crispy chicken. What I got was the grilled chicken they normally serve DROPPED IN THE FRYOLATOR, which rendered it dried rubber. When I called to complain, they were defensive and offered no resolution to make me happy. I only live a few blocks from them, and the well tipped driver could easily drop by on the way to another delivery. When I pushed, they charged me for an order of chicken tenders and wanted the deep fried grilled chicken strips and cheeseless grinder returned. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WITH THEM??? Eww. I am not overly finicky, I am just paying good money to enjoy a meal the way I ordered it. I am a nurse working too many hours during this pandemic to be able to cook for myself all the time. It is deflating at the end of the day of being exposed to death to have such a nasty experience. Done with them for sure this time. read more

Have always had consistently good food and service here. Pizza, hamburger, and grinders are all fine by me. Update : just ordered onion pepper and sausage over pasta. The website said it was $11.40 we were charged $13.50. When we asked about the difference. She made the excuse ...when you add pepper onion and sausage it's more. The food was Luke warm when we got it home and not hot like usual. The new owners are letting things slide. I've lived in the greenfield area for many years and goodies has always been a go to for pizza on the fly, their service is always speedy and I have no complaints on their pizza. However, upon receiving a menu flyer in my mailbox last week we decided to try something different. We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and "crispy" chicken salad with Italian dressing. Upon receiving the delivery we were eager to see what else goodies was serving up. Immediately we noticed that the so called "crispy chicken" was not any crispy chicken we had ever seen (considering we both have worked in the food industry for several years) we weren't sure what it was, grilled chicken thrown in a deep frier? Possibly? Not quite sure but the consistency was mushy and the taste was way off. And as for the Italian dressing it was practically oil with a thin layer of what could possibly be a bit of Italian on the bottom, as if it had been sitting in the container for far too long. And the buffalo chicken wrap was less than to die for, this was NOT buffalo chicken. The wrap was filled with mayo,blue chz, and hot sauce. Typically the chicken is tossed in buffalo sauce. Hence the whole "buffalo chicken" thing.. I did not order a "chicken with hot sauce near it smothered in mayo with a little bit of blue cheese and lettuce wrap". Feeling guilty we debated for 10 minutes if we should call and try to find a solution, if that was get our money back.. Fine so be it, but we were willing to get something else and return the food, that was certainly subpar, to them no problem. So after speaking with one of their cashier/order takers (who was VERY defensive and not all too caring that her customer was dissatisfied) they sent a driver back with our money. I payed for our two liter of Pepsi, returned the food, and tipped the driver. Both drivers! Delivery and pickup. After feeling terrible because when a customer is not happy all of the employees involved in the order feel terrible or like it's their fault. (As I've experienced more than a few times working in several different restaurant) and that's not the end.. After all seemed to be said and done with I get a call from the owner accusing me of being a "con artist" saying we ate all the food which was unbelievably untrue considering that there was MUCH MORE than half the food left in the containers we sent back with the second driver. After being extremely polite and trying to explain to the owner what was wrong and why we were dissatisfied he hung up on me mid sentence. Extremely unprofessional. There is ONE rule to live by when working or owning a business in the food and hospitality industry: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Even when you don't think they are.. Or know they aren't. That is the only way to build and keep a loyal customer base. After buying hundreds of dollars worth of pizza over the years, I'm sorry to say I will no longer be calling goodies for anything. read more

Recently came back to town, and they had the best sausage grinders ever. Turns out they no longer offer them, AND the "cook" can slap a piece of sausage onto a bun. Very disappointed. Then we got our order, and turns out we paid for the 75% extra bread on our grinders. Never coming back again. read more

A while ago I had a disagreement with the owner because I had ordered several hamburgers medium rare and they had always come well done. So I called to order and said that if it came well done I would call and ask for a credit. It came well done. An argument with the owner ensued because I told him I would talk this up among my friends and he thought I was threatening him and called me to say so. So several months have passed, and I called to order a grinder and was told they will no longer deliver to this address. Seems a bit ridiculous to me, but there it is. I had the lasagna, There was only one piece of pasta in the serving. The meat whatever was indistinguishable by the strange not Italian spicing. The whole thing covered with melted Pizza cheese more than on most pizzas. The whole dish looked like a plate of GOOP. I tried it, but I most likely never go back. read more

I agree that this place doesn't deserve only 3 stars...they do a great job here. I guess the prices are high, but since one reviewer stated that they should have just gone to McDonald's, maybe price is more important than quality for some people. These guys make great sandwiches and their pizza is my go-to in town. It's clean, they are friendly and the food is good and quick. What more do you want when you walk into a pizza joint? read more
