Food and beverage was normal for a comedy club - not fine dining but not horrible. The server comes around at the beginning, around the mid point, and at the end for the check, so be ready to order promptly. Our biggest complaint was the temperature in the venue. It was mid 90s outside, so most people were wearing light, summer clothing. It was way too cold inside for short sleeves, tanks, skirts, or shorts. The bar/ticket area felt like normal air conditioning but the actual venue with seating was several degrees cooler.

Saw Akaash Singh at Goodnights and had a great time! It's recommended that you arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the show; tbh we got there right at show time and it was fine. You have to bring your ID. Then, you tell the host inside how many people are in your party and they lead you to your table. They do have a 2-item minimum purchase rule. I got the Wild Child (Berry Syrup, Lemonade, Iced Tea), which was a bit too sweet for me, and the Iced Tea, which was better in terms of sweetness. Oh one annoying thing is I had no signal there at all weirdly, but they do have WiFi you can connect to. Located in Village District so lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

Love the comedy, but the food and building not so much. First it smells like mildew in this basement location, the last time it actually made me feel sick.. Second it was HOT in there last night. Even the comedian was complaining about it. And the food, why is it that comedy clubs can't ever get that right? They force you to buy the stuff then serve subpar grub. I guess when they are forcing you to buy it they don't have to worry about quality.

I loved the sampler platters the Mediterranean one was so good!!! The only downside was when the show started I couldn't see all the food and there was so much left after the show was over. I love the seating and way this location has been set up! I haven't been in a long time (since they moved to the new location)! The service was good the staff was very attentive and kept checking in!

We attended for the first time for Amber Autry's comedy show - WHAT A BALL! We had such a good time! The comedy space with intimate, high energy, and easy to navigate. I had my expectations low for service and food but I was happily mistaken! They had a robust menu for appetizers and entrees. I got a chicken Cesar salad wrap and it was surprisingly 10/10! The server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. I would go back just for that. We return in another month or two and we can't wait! Accessible bathroom and easy parking!

Well done performances but for a $100 ticket I'd expect a clean bathroom at the bare minimum especially considering this was when we first arrived.

Visited Goodnights Comedy Club for the first time last night to see Nicole Byer and will be going again next weekend. Parking was pretty easy as it's in The Village. Saturday nights can be really busy but since our show was at 9:30, it was fine. I purchased the reserved seats for a little more just to not have to worry about seating. I was really impressed with how close to the stage the reserved seats were, I wasn't expecting to be right at the stage. Picking up the tickets at the box office was easy and I'm glad we picked them up an hour before the show started so we didn't have to wait in line. The seats themselves were very simple and a little uncomfortable. For paying extra, they should have cushions or something. Acoustics were good and honestly, I don't think any seat inside would be terrible, even if you arrive late and get seats towards the back. The venue is small and intimate. There is a two item minimum per person. We ordered 3 beers and I also ordered a THC seltzer drink. Prices for beer was super reasonable. We didn't order any food, however. There is free wifi. They were giving away free merch if you texted a number. The texts weren't going through down in the basement of the comedy club so I think I missed that opportunity to win because of it. Otherwise, the wifi was good except for text messaging. Overall, this is a decent comedy club and I'll continue coming back for more laughs.

As we were walking up my grandson said " this is a fancy place ". The decor is nicer than most bbq places for sure. I was surprised to see so many options that were not bbq and a large selection of sides. He got meatloaf with Mac and cheese and baked beans. He said it was the best meatloaf he ever had and this comes from a picky eater! He loved the Mac and cheese as well. It was a huge serving so I got to try the meatloaf and he was right. He didn't share the Mac and cheese. Neither of us cared for the baked beans. I had the brisket, Brussel sprouts and potato salad. The brisket was tender and flavorful. Awesome. The potato salad was ok but I didn't care for the Brussel sprouts . I would try two different sides next time. A basket of hush puppies and biscuits came as well. We were both so thirsty and I can report they had excellent sweet tea. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food came out faster than I expected. We will be back!

When you walk in the space feels like a converted industrial warehouse with a polish of upscale. You'll check in with the host when you arrive and then be seated. For the starter we ordered the Pit Sampler (a medley of their appetizers; which includes pit-smoked wings, BBQ soul rolls, Southern-style deviled eggs, and pimento cheese balls). Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the pit sampler as most dishes were a bit on the dry side, but the free basket of biscuits and hush puppies were great. For the entree we ordered the half rack of baby back ribs which were good but pretty fatty in some sections. I would return again in the future but may try something else on the menu.

Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Started with the biscuits topped with crackling and house-made preserves, and honestly, that combo alone made me question why I don't eat more biscuits in life. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot. Travelin_Broke approved with a slight side-eye from the greens.

I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.
