I dropped off items at this location for the first time and anyone who has driven here knows it is a very small and awkward parking lot. I pulled up to the cones cause there was no parking as there was very limited parking and asked if I could donate the stuff there or where I should park. The older white male that was working was very rude and basically ignored me while and after he helped somebody else. There are no signs designating where to park to donate items and he could have simply directed me. Another individual came out who was very nice and helped me. To clarify I was not rude to this individual and was asking for assistance. I believe he is racist and he refrained from looking at me or directly speaking to me. read more

This is an older format Goodwill compared to the newer ones that have been going up in the last few years. Looking at this place from the outside, you would think there would not be much here, but there's definitely something to see once inside. It is in an L shape where all the ladies clothing is on one side and the men's clothing, knickknacks, glassware, and everything else is on the other side. Some yelpers complained about the smell of this place, but on my visit, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, except a mildly dusty aroma you would expect to find in any thrift store. Many of all the knickknacks and such are on short separate aisles, but all the shoes sit above the clothing racks. I didn't find anything on my visit here, but I was impressed with their decent selection of items. They also also have a very friendly positive staff that work here. First time at this location, and I found a vintage Gucci women's wallet! Screaming I can't believe it, I took the time to Google it and authenticate it and I bought it! The store had lots of new things, they had like 4 rolling trolleys of merchandise ready to be put out. Everything was color coordinated with the handbags and they had a great shoe selection for running! I'm from Houston and I break for Goodwill, so I'll definitely will be back again! read more

I shop at this Airport location all the time and I love this Goodwill store. The staff are always helpful and nice. My 1-star problem has to do with a purchase I made. I purchased a huge professional photo printer from this store. It is a Canon Image Pro that cost $300 despite a cashier telling me that Goodwill policy is that they don't price anything over $100. I guess that's why they put three $100 tags on it when I bought it. This thing is so big I had to rent a u-haul to pick it up. When I turned it on it did nothing. I had to consult several electronic stores to figure out if there was something I was just missing but it turns out it is just broken and inoperable (despite also being told by a worker that they only accept and sell working electronics). I have been going in constant circles trying to get my money back. Three hundred dollars is a lot of money. I am on a fixed income so every penny truly counts. I would just like the powers that be at Goodwill to know that I am personally one of the actual people that you purport to help. So if Goodwill is a non-profit charity that helps the community, you will be accomplishing that also by refunding my money. Really, what is the ultimate goal of the charity??? It's to help people like me - a disabled, low-income veteran. I'm the community so please do not reply with a generic response about "policy". Thank you, dear reader and have a great day! read more

As far as these stores go it was clean, fairly orderly and it wasn't too crowded. Found some nice golf shirts that were in great shape. $85 shirts for 11.49. Not bad finds. All clean, well taken care of shirts. They seem to do a good job of getting rid of the junk and keeping better quality garments. read more

Great products in this store, but their pricing team is not trained well. This store is easily x2, sometimes x3 more expensive than other goodwills in the area. A blazer than would be $8.49 at the Lamar/brodie location? $24.99 here. A $6.99/7.99 shirt? $15.99. read more

Every Goodwill is a little different. This one has new carpets and new jeans with tags for sale at the front of the store by checkout. They are reasonable priced too. The carpets were all rolled up in plastic wrap and clean. All were less than $20 which is a steal. The jeans were $15 or less and all still had manufacturer tags attached. Lots of them were good brands too. The items that I ended up purchasing are: - Green Off Shoulder Crochet Top $7 - Neon Pink Nike Dri-Fit T-Shirt $4 (originally $8, but on this Saturday, it was 50% off yellow tags) Overall, we would return to this Goodwill. It had a lot of good and interesting finds for your home. Spotted this amazing large brown basket for blankets, but we were too late on snatching it first. This Goodwill is also smaller in size so there's not a lot of parking. We ended up parking in the next building over on the side. Not sure if that's allowed. We were only there for a quick 30 minutes. This Goodwill is also close to the Austin airport. read more

It always smells like pee here, and half the time things don't have tags on them. Today I went to buy something without a tag, and they didn't have someone to price it so they just took it away and couldn't sell it. Pretty terrible system! read more

Came here looking for a VCR. While they did have two, one was dusty and looked like it wouldn't work well for my needs. The other had no price on it, and I asked what it was... she went to the back and came back with $14.99. Granted, it was a DVD/VCR combo, but this is double what they should be charging. Needless to say I left without making a purchase. read more

When thrifting is your religion, Goodwill is your church. This East Austin Goodwill is small, but mighty. The discoveries vary more than any other location in Austin. It ranges from hipster hand-me-downs to legit grandpa clothes. The selection is as eclectic as the neighborhood. The smell at this store is turned up to 11. You can't escape it. It lingers on your clothes, in your car, and in that cactus shaped margarita glass you're bound to buy. It's everywhere. read more

This goodwill is a hit or miss for staff and selection of goods. Many times I've shopped here the staff have been friendly but other times the staff is cold or rude. They don't have a changing table in the single bathroom. There's not even space near the sink or a table that would fit an infant. Your only options are the floor, in the sink of baby is tiny, or outside. Please put a table or something. read more
