This Goodwill is very large and well lit. It has ample parking to boot. You will find all the standard stuff inside. Lots of women's clothes. In fact it's mostly all women's clothes. The men's section is downright anemic. Relegated to a small section in the front of the store. Lots of t-shirts so you might luck out there, but most everything else is in short supply. Could be a great shopping experience, manly speaking, if the offerings were beefed up. As it is... If you are a woman check it out. read more

I purchased a pair of shoes for my husband that were listed as size 11-12 and when I received them they weren't even size 10. Frankly this is fraud. Wrote and explained the problem with a request to return and have NOT received any response. Goodwill better realize they are still subject to Federal and State interstate commerce laws governing retail sales. If I don't receive a response I am going to file a claim with the I C dept. They take fraud seriously. read more

I'm writing this as a Donor, not a buyer. Speak English. I know we're in Miami, but dude, come on. When you ring the doorbell to drop off donations, they take FOREVER to come to the door. And then, 8 out 10 times, the woman who answers the door cannot speak English. So if you need a receipt, you need to go somewhere else. Sometimes they are full and turn away donations. Let me repeat that: GOODWILL HAS TURNED AWAY MY DONATIONS! I don't know what is going on, but someone needs to fix it, and quick. In this economy, people need the Goodwill Stores. As with Michelle, I'm also writing this review from a donors point of view. I called in earlier today to inquire about donating some old PC desktops that we had in my house that weren't being utilized. The guy on the phone told me there was no problem, the only thing they didn't accept was furniture. So I loaded up my car and drove all the way down south to drop them off. When I got to the drop off window I approached the lady and told her I had some computers to drop off. Luckily I speak Spanish, so when she told me she didn't "think" she could take them, I explained to her that I had called earlier and had gotten a confirmation. She said "okay" and proceeded to help me unload my car. When we walked inside a lady literally yelled at us at the top off her lungs, in Spanish, to get out and take them back with me. Yelling? really? Fed up by this indecisive incompetence I redialed the number and walked into the store, where I encountered the gentleman that had answered my phone call earlier. We went to the cashier manager and I explained my plight to them, to which they started gossiping about how the department in the back can't seem to get their shit together.... uhmm, yeah, this is really professional. I decided to just drive down the street to where the MDC recycling mound was and drop the stuff there instead. Its a shame because of all the Goodwill stores I've been in, this one seems to be the best organized and uncluttered. But they really need to work on their racial differences and communication issues, not only is it way unprofessional, but it damages severely their costumer service potential. read more

Great for getting infant clothes as they grow out of them so quickly. I do hate this place though for no apparent reason, just the fact that the wife makes me come with her here. Kinda smells like an old closet in here, but that's to be expected. read more

Pros: It's a big store that has mostly women's clothes. The color coordination of all the clothes is pleasing to the eye. Cons: the men's clothing is a joke. If you're average sized, good luck. it's basically either xs or xxxxl. Just because they're color coded does not mean that they're organized. Nor does that mean it belongs in the men's section. 6 bucks for a pair of pants is fair. Considering the next cheapest option rounds out to about 12-15. Bought 3 pairs of pants yesterday and none of them fit except the ones I deliberately picked to run big. Return/Exchange policy will either make or break this review and I will update at later date. UPDATE* Ok. So I went to see if they'd exchange my pants because they were too small. And they said no. Which is really sucks. Not all goodwill are created equal. On another note. The homestead branch is much better for men's clothes. They basically made up for everything cutler ridge couldn't do. read more

Super rude staff. I came in to donate and ask about an item that Id seen the person in front of me donate. I was interested in buying the item but rather than ask the person to give it to me (instead of donating it) I decided to ask the goodwill employee to sell the item to me. After all, I was there to make one of many donations and have the means to afford to pay for the item. The "manager" was super rude and refused to put a price on it to sell it to me. She said that she has to process everything crammed into an enormous room meaning it could be months before this item was "processed" judging by the amount of stuff. Her suggestion was that I come into that goodwill twice a day everyday until it was possibly put on sale. I told her that I take care of my elderly father and didn't have the time to come in daily to see if it was put on sale but she shrugged and walked away from me. Please keep in mind I was not asking for a discounted price or any special price I was simply asking that she price it, however she sees fit, and I would pay it. This was just a case of someone AT A GOODWILL STORE refusing to help. If you ask me, she either had her eye on the item, was flat out lazy or just didn't like my face either way its a crummy way to run a business and I hope someone higher up on the totem pole sees this and she is dealt with accordingly. She is supposedly the processing manager in charge of pricing items in the back of the store. I understand that there is a "process" in which these things must be done but there is also a way to speak to customers and hers was RUDE. NEVER going back to this goodwill again. I'm going to donate to a church or directly to a homeless person from now on. You can thank her for that. read more

DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS HERE! I tested two VCR's and they didn't rewind or fast forward. I wanted to test a third but the cashier wouldn't let me. When I asked "how will I know it works?" she replied "I don't know." The electronics might turn on but they certainly don't work. Buy with caution. read more
