GOODWILL, YOU'RE FAILING THE COMMUNITY I'm honestly shocked at how high the prices are at the Goodwill Institute here in Georgia. This is supposed to be a nonprofit thrift store, meant to help low-income families, not profit off of them. How are y'all charging nearly retail prices for USED donations? People donate these items out of kindness -- and struggling families come in hoping for affordable clothes, furniture, or kids' items... only to find things they still can't afford. We're in a time where every dollar counts. People are losing jobs, homes, and hope -- and Goodwill is marking up items that were given to them for FREE? This isn't just greedy -- it's shameful. Goodwill, you need to check your mission. You were meant to lift up communities, not price us out. Lower your prices, or don't pretend you're here to help people. Most Everything is way overpriced. I rarely find anything in HOME to buy now as they send the good items to their ebay store. NO jewelry. Old Dirty shoes are 10.00 and up. Clothing prices have increased but you can find nice clothes. Book prices are too high. 4.00 for a Hardy Boy Book. They sell the best books on ebay. The employees are very nice. I miss shopping in Goodwill when the company wasn't so greedy with free donations. read more

This is a small location, but its packed full of surprises. If you can make it up the ramp (Big azz hill inside the store) the you are almost half way though the tore. Just onto blink,OK. Or you'll be headed back own the ramp in 3 minutes. But don't let its size oil you. As soon as i took a right off the ramp, I found a $200 purse amongst the 15 purses they had available. There is also a small selections of shoes on this side of the store as well. Sadly any of them looked too worn o catch my eye. The clothes take up the center of the floor on both ides of the ramp with books, toys and household items on the walls around the store. I thought thy quantity of items in the store to be only a fraction of any other GW store I have entered. But it's all bout quality hen you are shopping at thrift stores and I must say this location gets n A for that! Just keeping mind that many items one from the area that you are in so you can book up our country style kitchen with Cows, Peaches, Ducks, Fish and even Strawberries. I thought the clothes selection to be a little bit country for this Georgia native, but they have a selection of Beautiful gowns for women/girls size 10 and under that would shock Sugar Honey Iced Tea out of you. It jut came up out of nowhere, just past the kids clothes to the left of the stories. BAM formal gowns!??? They are worth taking a look at them, if you are in the area an looking for some for your special occasion. I visited the store August 2013. read more

This was my first time shopping here, and I love the selections they have. But there's something I'm not very pleased with, and that's the manager who was rude to me and the employees. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was the store manager. I understand things can be stressful when it's busy, but slamming the drawer shut and throwing things down isn't professional at all. So I'm not so sure if they'll see me there again. read more

I was VERY disappointed today (Monday June 1) when I tried to return (with the receipt) two articles of clothing that I purchased Thursday, June 27. Goodwill's return policy is 3 days, but yesterday was Sunday,The Lord's Day, so I feel discriminated against because of my religious beliefs! I did not even want my money back, but simply to exchange the two articles for something that fit. I have given to Goodwill in the past, and bought plenty, and even donated.... But NO MORE!!! Even Walmart will let u do store credit WITHOUT a receipt, or exchange sizes... So sad to have to cease relationship with a "charity," but that's just bad business! read more
