The selection of clothes at this particular location is pretty good. The staff working when I entered said hi and welcome in. Like every thrift store, some things are over priced, but you can find some hidden treasures. Red is the color of the week and I only saw 1 red tag. The hard goods prices in this store are absolutely ridiculous; this store has become a joke. For many items, you may as well buy them new. Dollar Tree items are priced at $3.99+ (come on, we all know the the Greenbriar label is Dollar Tree). Decorative items are priced higher than at Ross or Home Goods. Hobby Lobby items (which you can buy at HL for 50% off one week out of every month) are priced a few dollars less than the original HL price. Craft items are laughable, sometimes priced for pennies less than retail. Worn out name brand sneakers are priced at $24.99. Small items that used to be .49 or .99 now start at $3.99. They advertise Thursdays as their $1 Day, yet pull most of the decent items on Tuesday, leaving very few items for $1 Day. (Yes, I have watched them do this. I used to donate and shop there frequently. Now I stop in once a month, if at all. And I no longer donate there...there's no "good will" in the store and I understand why many people call it Greedwill. read more

I bought a table and found out it doesn't fit in the car, so I has to wait 15 minutes in line to get a manager that fought me on a return for a table that never left the store and then insisted I can't get money back for a large purchase and there's nothing she could do for me, so now I have a large gift card for goodwill when I normally don't go here. I was never informed of the return policy before the purchase and it should not have mattered since again, the table never left the building. read more

The store was very disorganized and messy. I wanted to browse crafts and paper supplies but they were heaped on shelves that caused things to shift and fall so gave up. Had to browse all the women's clothing as they were not racked in the right size sections. Some items priced higher than new! A-OK Goodwill, I found this location to be very convenient for donation. The volunteer actually met me outside for the pick up, I didn't call ahead or anything she was just watching out the window. The store itself is clean and well lit with lots of stuff. I don't really get the negative reviews here, the customer service here is what one should expect given how little the workers are paid. I just got back from donating several bags of clothes to this store. The guy accepting the clothes smirked at me and didn't say a word. Almost like my donation wasn't worth his time or something. Very weird experience. He also didn't ask if I wanted a receipt. Not that I care about the receipt but I've never not been asked. In addition, the store itself is disorganized and dirty and overpriced. The one on Ina is much better. From now on I will donate to Salvation Army or Big Brothers/Big Sisters, where they actually appreciate donations and don't act like you're burdening them. read more

This has got to be the one of the most disorganized Goodwill's in Pima County. It took a long time for me to find small shirts because of how mixed they are with the other sizes. You find more organized goodwills in poorer sides of tucson. On top of that, a man who works there (seemed like the manager because he didn't have the uniform but he had the Goodwill credential) was checking me out the whole time to make sure I wasn't stealing. With someone getting on their feet at thrifting I wouldn't suggest this place immediately. I come here quite often though and always find some good stuff, the employees are always super sweet when i talk to them, and giving a helping hand by taking off all your hangers really does speed along the process at checkout. The place is quite difficult to figure out as to the layout. Otherwise if you're just taking your time it's a really good store to find gems. The items and decor section is always fully stocked and there is always A LOT of clothes. Maybe even a bit too many. Some of the sizing is a bit off, so always utilize the dressing rooms whilst you can. ALWAYS check all your items for holes because that is another thing you come across a lot with (not just this particular store). Otherwise there is rarely any clothing flung over the racks and on the floor. The associates do a good job at speeding up checkout if there is a line. CONSTANT new racks of clothing are coming out! For more advanced thrifters, i'd suggest this place. I've found great stuff here! read more

Today I went to purchase a dresser for my son, I paid for it and gave the guy my name and number and told him I'll be back to pick it up in a couple of hours with my husband's truck. When he went to get it they told him they had sold it to someone else. When I called and spoke to the manager She put the blame on me saying that because I was in a rush I prevented them from following procedure. I don't see how paying for an item and giving them my name and number could make a large dresser fall through the cracks and get resold. Not my favorite goodwill. It's very small and cluttered in most spaces. I did find a cute little ceramic pumpkin, which had a green sticker (the ones on sale this week). Score! It had a Chungking of glue and a small chip, which was fine because I am going to paint it and such anyway. Sure enough I get to the register, with my one item and the girl looks at the tag, scowls checks under it and noticed some date code and shrugged her shoulders like ok. REALLY GOODWILL??? Its a freaking itty bitty pumpkin that's not perfect anyway. Why would I try to get it cheaper?? Makes you feel like a criminal, when you know you didn't do anything wrong. I just want to say what a great job Lara, store manager, has done for the store. It's always busy and her staff does well keeping the store organized and tidy. (I've never seen so many customers just leave things lying about and on the floor like they don't care.) They are always cheerful and pleasant. I like the store for the nice clothing, books, DVDs, and golf equipment. Some of the furniture is quite nice. Easy to get to and lots of parking. Lots of inventory turnover there. read more

This is the cleanest Goodwill in Tucson, but that could be due to its relative newness to all the other stores in town. The staff at this location are always friendly. I can't think of a single time I've popped by and haven't been greeted by someone right away and reminded what the color of the week is. The only downside to this is that it's pretty hit-or-miss in finding a great deal. Just as I've said with other thrift stores, they tend to neglect the fact that they get all their items for free. I don't say this meaning they shouldn't make any money off customers, but charging more for a used, broken, missing-pieces item than it costs new isn't fair. I did find that they were selling a Coach purse knock-off (a fairly obvious one at that) for $10. I'm not sure if that's a good deal, but for someone I'm sure it was. This is a pretty good store and I like to go there to kill time. read more
