" Great Hospital with Great Patient Care "…read more My wife and I were on a 42 day Europe cruise when she fell and broke 3 bones in her ankle. We were taken off the cruise ship in Barcelona, Spain and taken via an ambulance to Centro Medico Teknon. My wife and I stayed in the medical facility for 3 days while they treated her. This medical center had all top notch facilities and the customer service, which made the USA look bad. We were met at the hospital by Maria Cararach who was the cruise ship's Medical Coordinator for the hospital. Maria was one of the most hard working, organized, efficient, coordinators, I have ever seen. Maria worked so many hours at the hospital interpreting, and handling all the cruise customers who needed medical help, answering questions between the hospital and patients. She even gave us her cell phone so we could call her late at night if we had a problem. This lady was Outstanding ! Everyone at the Medical Center respected and listened to her especially the Dr's. I don't know how, or what we would have done without her. If she came to the United States I would get her a huge paying job immediately. Thank You Maria. You are Awesome ! I was able to sleep in my wife's room in a made up bed by 2 ladies daily next to her. The constant nurses coming in all day and night applying medicine and other medical care was outstanding. Nurse Lolitie was so nice and made sure my wife's every need was taken care of. Orfidel administered my wife's pain medication, and came in so many times to make sure my wife was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Ignacio Muro one of the top surgeons in the hospital came in or called me a couple times a day to look at my wifes ankle and to explain going forward, what we had to look forward too. He was so nice and educational with his presentations and examinations before we headed back to the United States for Surgery on my wife's foot. The Centro Medico Teknon gets the highest grade of an A + , THANK YOU !

It's an old…read morepharmacy but I always find what I'm looking for both drugs and treatments for skin care of all types. They have a specialist for everything that has to do with skin care and It's perfect because I have very sensitive skin and it's not that easy to be well advised. They also offer tests to know what type of skin you have so you can apply the correct treatment. Generally all they are very nice and are always willing to help you in what you need. They have a online shop so you can order whatever you need from home. La farmàcia Camprubí és la meva farmàcia preferida al barri del Raval. És una farmàcia d'estructura antiga però on sempre trobo allò que busco, tant medicaments com cremes i tractaments per la cura de la pell. Tenen una especialista per tot el que té a veure amb la cura de la pell i a mi em va perfecte perquè tinc la pell molt delicada i no a tot arreu et saben aconsellar bé. També et fan proves de la pell per saber de quin tipus és i el que necessites exactament. En general tots els que atenen són molt propers i sempre estan disposats a ajudar-te en allò que necessitis. Another important fact is that as a foreigner without insurance they provide you with a basic fee to be paid of 223 euros which is cheap by comparison to most hospitals in the U.S. Hopefully you won't need it. I unfortunately did and was there just last night (03/17/2013).

Pero cuando el xray se acabado(solo gelo entrando,no me deja entrar dentro)..vuelve ser animado.. :) Y luego, alas 3pm. volvemos para pediatricia..para la granos pequeños que tenia en la cara.. la doctora esta no es amable..me hecho la bronca por que me ha dicho que no tenemos datos y falta un vacuna..y no hay un año que hemos sido aha para la prueba de ojos de gelo..y claro no me han dicho nada..y no es la primera vez que hemos pasar por ahay cuando esta preguntando ya questiones, y venimos en tema allergia, solo querro enseniar lo que gelo tenia en cara,si es allergia o no y me han dicho, todavia no estamos con el, vale por respeto me cayo. Pero cuando volvemos ahi y igual tratando asi..voy a pedir para cambiar la doctora.
