Dr Panuccio sends time with me to discuss whatever issue I'm experiencing physically or emotionally she listens she's very thorough. I've had to call to see the doctor on short notice due to illness and the staff has gotten back to me quickly and I've been able to see Dr. Panuccio or her PA . Dr. Panuccio, her nurse and her staff are caring professionals.

Wow!…read more You guys might think my excitement about finding my new Family Doc is a little misplaced, but hear me out: when I arrived for my appointment, I was in and out in less than forty-five minutes (initial registration included). I don't know about you, but that's pretty darn good time for me. Working with Florida Hospital, this office is great for primary care, and they accept patients from as young as age 2. Their office is super accommodating and friendly; I called in and they made the appointment for the very next day with Dr. Ng (pronounced 'ung'). As a personal preference, I feel more comfortable seeing female doctors, so finding out that they only had women doctors at this office made me more comfortable. The entire office is very neat and warm -- not sterile-feeling like a lot of clinics. It was relatively easy to find as well. The receptionist advised me, as a first-time patient, to arrive half an hour early to fill out some paperwork. After that, I waited about ten to fifteen minutes until they called me in; it didn't feel long though, because they had a movie playing and there's free wifi, so I had plenty to occupy myself with. My nurse was really sweet and funny, but professional at the same time. After she took down my symptoms and general information, I waited about five minutes for Dr. Ng to come in and see me. The appointment went really well and she took great care of me (I'm now in tip-top shape!). She really cares and it definitely shows -- a week after my appointment, she called me personally to ask how I felt and to follow up on the treatment. I'm so glad to have found my new PCP and I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!

I arrived at 1:55 to a waiting room with 16 patients waiting. By 2:30 they had not even requested my insurance information and only 3 patients had been seen. They were continuing to obtain insurance information from patients that arrived before me. The waiting room seemed like a free clinic in a third world country. I left at 2:30!

I feel that the most important thing in finding a good doctor is finding one who really listens to you and understands whatever problem you are having. They must understand you problem before they can treat you. My favorite is Alexandra Sloan, PA-C. She has seen me through breast cancer, gallbladder, and any number of minor infections and other health related issues. The office is run by a wonderfully organized group of people. So you don't have long waits but you also don't feel rushed. I feel like they have my best interests at heart!

I am very impressed with both the staff at the Dr's office, as well as Dr. Ruggerio himself. I didn't wait for anything more then a few minutes at any point in time, even in the actual waiting room, which is where the majority of patients are kept suffering in my experience. I was called in within ten minutes to a room, and seen almost immediately by Dr. Ruggerio. Not only did he have a very thorough understanding of my RA, he also did an in-depth analysis of my medical history to make some recommendations that would help manage RA better. Unlike some other doctors, he really spent time getting to know my medical history and helping me out. I didn't feel at any point in time like he felt rushed or bored and ready to move on to the next patient. Imagine; a doctor that actually CARES about his patients and not just his pocket. The staff follow up was excellent as well. The nurse sat with me to look up some specialists in the area (I was still travelling to NY to see my rhematologist a few times a year), and called a few days later to check in. They are extremely fast at getting back to you when you call with concerns or are in need of refills, and also fill prescriptions via Blackberry on the spot. Now that's service!

I also needed to establish a physician for my lower back L4, L5 and S1 pain medications I am on for over 20 years. Nurse practitioner came, took list of my meds mail order. She ordered my meds. Upon receiving the meds I noticed, she didn't order one of my meds for 90 days BUT for 30 days with no refills. I called pharmacy. Pharmacy replied, doctor ordered for 30 days with no refill. I called doctor's office. The doctor says he will not write 90 days or 30 days refill until he checks my physical. The clinic is stuck up, making totally irrelevant excuses to write meds refill or for 90 days. In order to further establish state of my physical, doctor went ahead with my blood test. I also requested to check if I am allergic to any unknown allergy. Besides, The unqualified staff who don't know how to read blood pressure. The pressure was so high, the nurse practitioner refused to order my medication I am using for almost 20 years. Well anyway, I went back to get blood drawn for testing purpose making sure there is nothing wrong anymore apart from some unknown allergic reaction I had earlier. The 2nd nurse came in to draw my blood. She can't even find my vein. Huh.... She send 3rd nurse to draw the blood. She gets it without making "ANY EXTRA DIGGING" efforts. Two days after, doctor on duty on Sunday calls asking "IF I AM DOING OK?" I was surprised. I went curious asking why what you find? Doctor says, my "SUGAR IS SO LOW" he wanted to make sure I am ok. I said something is wrong with your test. My sugar isn't as low as might think. I am absolutely active, working, going to gym. He said, there should be something wrong in test. He asked if anything went wrong while they drawing the blood? I said, the nurse named Deborah could find my vein. So she went ahead ask 3rd nurse to draw the blood. That's all. He orders 2nd blood drawn. I went today for another blood draw. 4th nurse came to draw the blood. He instigated if I get bruises a lot. I said, yes depending on how much you dig in my body. He takes my blood, then leaves all near by me, goes out to check if I have follow up appointment for test result discussions. I requested again, to write refill plus 90 days supply for my pain medicines. The receptionist said, she will send in message forward. They will call. Nurse named Deborah called, started crying for the same. They will not order another refill or 90 days supply. I said, you are not making any sense. She Says, my blood pressure was too high. It seemed like the doctors office practicing unethical behavior to cash on new patience. Moreover I am above 60 so I am a target of their atrocious pattern of behavior. I restrict anyone visiting FMA Facility located in Winter Spring, Florida. These center is milking patience not helping or do not know how to treat their Patience. Beware! Do not go there.

I only need to see the doctor once a year…read morefor my regular check up but every time I have gone, I have been happy with the visit and efficiency of the office. My husband also sees Dr. Douglas (we almost never go together due to work schedules) and my husband has similar experiences. The staff here is great and the office runs efficiently. Dr. Douglas runs on time. I've never had a wait. My husband is typically a difficult stick. The phlebotomist here is awesome and always gets him on the first time. Dr. Douglas is kind and takes a real interest in you, not just as a patient but as a person. Dr. Douglas is a huge dog lover and has photos of his dogs in the exam rooms. It's a nice touch so that the office feels less sterile and more welcoming. It's also nice to get a glimpse into his hobbies/ outside interests. That way you see him not just as your doctor but as a human. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Douglas. He is a wonderful PCP. You want someone who takes the time to listen and gets to know you as a person. The location is convenient for me but even if I lived a little further away, I'd drive the extra distance for a good doctor.

One of the things I most appreciate about Dr. Douglas is how prompt he is, so if an appointment is at 2:30pm as an example, you can betcha that a few minutes later, Dr. Douglas will stroll into the consulting room. I also like that he is through, keeps up to date with the latest medical research and offers genuine, logical solutions that work best for your individual circumstances rather than whatever the latest fad is.
