It is cute, cozy, immaculate, comfortable room and bed, porch to cherish, close to the trail and has a great breakfast. Now, the best part. we met owners Chuck and Denise for the first time. So pleasant and helpful as can be. Our group had an injured rider stay for two days even while others rode. Seriously, between the owners and an angel employee named Loretta (?) they cared for him like he was family. We would/will not stay anywhere but Yoder House given the chance to ride GAP again.

Not hello, welcome, thanks for staying with us or anything even close. Parked our two valuable bikes in the garage and told us that the door would only be closed to secure the bikes once everyone was in for the evening, in other words didn't care about securing our hard earned valuables/property and/or didn't want to spend the quarter on electricity to open it and close it a couple of times. When asked if any luggage had been delivered, she responded "I don't know, I don't care about or pay attention to luggage"! Next, we received our elementary school style stern lecture on how everything worked around the house. Told us we got no breakfast because we were leaving too early (7am) and that we had screwed up by not making the ride into Cumberland, as that was the best day. After my shower, my threadbare towel nearly tore as I dried off. Stay elsewhere unless snarky and aloof service on the cheap is your thing!

We all had savory pancakes at the B&B next door one morning and enjoyed Ohiopyle State Park tremendously. After spending the day white water rafting and hiking, Fernwalk was a great place to return to for relaxation. We hope to come back soon to finish exploring this beautiful area.

They are super friendly and knowledgable about the area, so don't be shy to ask them questions about recommended places to see it activities to do. The inn is equipped with a ton of amenities; such as free wine and beer, endless DVDs of current and newly released movies, and bikes if you choose to go exploring. Plus much more. They even do a bonfire on the weekend nights with smores!! The location is set back in a secluded area away from the main resort and areas of deep creek, so it's a nice refuge but still close enough to everything. Every aspect of our stay was surely above my expectations. I would definitely recommend for couples or anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay in deep creek.

His name is Troy, a very nice gentleman. He allowed us to rent this cabin and we are having a great time, Cabin gives that Cabin Feeling too. The cabin has a Fire place, Grill, Flat screen TV's, beautiful fully stocked Kitchen, Hot Tub, Wifi, Ceiling Fans, 3Bed Rooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Nice living room, upstairs, basement, Washer and Dryer, big deck/porch, fire pit outside. The cabin has plenty of linens. Pet Friendly too, (pets considered) we brought our 2 Huskies. And the Fall season we are in, it's a great time to rent.

I am a novice cyclist and not in great shape, but I made the 32 miles on the Old Allegheny bike trail (the last 22 miles were downhill) and 17 of the 35 miles on the C&O Canal. We had to cut the ride short to get back home. The views were beautiful and the rides were strenuous for me but easy for him. I didn't quit! Jason picked us and our bikes up and dropped us off. He gave us advice on what to look for. Gail, the owner of the business, spoiled us with beautiful bike-themed accommodations in the Decatur Inn. She also filled our bellies with a huge homemade breakfast each morning. We plan to go back. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. It was a great weekend.

We were on a multi-state motorcycle trip, and realized we weren't going be able to make our…read morescheduled destination. I did a quick google search, and found the Pine Hill Camp ground. We arrived late, so I didn't get to see a lot of the campground as we arrived but it didn't seem so crowded. We found a nice campsite just inside a deep pine forest, at the edge of a meadow. The night could have been more pleasant as me watched the Perseid meteor shower. In the morning we took a quick shower, and headed out. The bathhouse was clean, but a little worn. There were not a lot of people staying there, and there did seem to be a bit of junk (old tractors and such) that needs to be cleaned up around the bath house.the manager was friendly and accommodating.
