    I wondered if it was just me, until I looked at the other reviews…read more I overheard the man behind the counter being a bit of a Smart Alec to the customer before me in the queue. "Well, it IS a Post Office," he said to the elderly lady who had asked - politely - if she could buy a book of stamps. Equally charming to me, I'd have to say. I was berated because a stamp was falling off my envelope. "You've torn this off another envelope," he said, and refused to accept my assurance that I had stuck the stamp on straight out of a booklet 20 minutes earlier. Unnecessarily rude and confrontational. Also, I know it's Christmas, but the queue was out of the door, and only one (awful) man serving, taking his own sweet time. Picking arguments for fun, it would seem.

    Went today (Monday 21st October 2024) to return some items to Amazon. The attendant was aggressive…read moretowards me. At first we were conversing through the glass and I could not hear him well. I have a slight hearing defect. He was beckoning for me to raise my mobile so he can scan the QR code but I misunderstood his command at the start. He became annoyed in his tone. He asked me "you can't hear me"? I told him not really. It was then he turned a microphone on, I told him that was better. He then asked me to take the items out of the bag and pass them over to him. This I might say was not clearly communicated and I was trying my best to push each items under the small opening. As I have never used the service before, I did not understand that the counter could slide back to facilitate the items. Eventually, I understood what he failed to Communicate to me. He angrily pulled back the shaft and I said to him that he did not need to be that aggressive. He responded that he was not being aggressive and I reiterated that yes you were. He asked how it was that he was being aggressive and I said that your manner in pulling back the shaft and your general tone in speaking to me. He said he can pull back anyway he wants and tried to turn it around that I was the one being aggressive. I asked him politely to just continue to do his job as I did not want this to escalate any further. My problem with his behaviour is that he does not fit for working in customer service. If this was a disabled person with sensory defects, he would have totally ruined their confidence. Not every disability is visible. He needs to get retrained on how to be a customer service personnel. He was rude and condescending. I would NOT do business with this office in the future. Very poor interaction that has thrown off my entire day.

    On the 31/5/2024 my intercom buzzer rang the person on the other end said delivery I asked this…read moreperson if they could give me the name on the parcel but he refused he just said the parcel was for my flat I've had this happen many times to me and I've been left standing at my front door like an idiot . Anyway I asked again for the name on the parcel but the delivery postman refused and walked away my with parcel I had to chase this delivery postman down I tried to explain my reasons for asking the name on the parcel but the postman just said it wasn't his problem I've never met such a horrible arrogant obnoxious ignorant person in my life the postman has no people skills no customer relation skills and no understanding of why people ask for the name on the parcel. I've complained verbally by phone ref no is1-11461611221. I've also emailed royal mail with regards to this dreadful customer service experience it awful. I didn't win my fight with cancer to take this kind attitude problem this postman has his behaviour and attitude problem was completely unacceptable I only asked for the name on the parcel so I could give the postman access to the building at .
