Myself, my wife, our friends, coworkers, and family from near and far! Parking is plentiful (a huge plus for its location), and you always get so much value for your money. My coworkers and I have been waiting for the day to grab korean bbq together. The one place we wanted to try was closed so searched for another reasonably priced all you can eat bbq. We saw this one and decided to give it a try. Lunch special was $16.99 - for all you can eat from select beef, pork and chicken options (seafood is not available for lunch). They have a buffet with not as many options - included japchae, kimchi (mediocre), eggs, sardines, etc. We ordered various meats (bulgogi and beef brisket being my favorite). We placed our order for the meats and they only bring a small portion, to feed 4 people. The length of time to bbq was extremely long, and worst of all is that our fire would continuously go out because there was an issue with the gas. I strongly believe if the gas/fire worked, the length of time to cook would still be a bit long as the fire only hits the middle of the grill. To be honest, now I know why people are willing to pay more for all you can eat. More money (typically) = better quality = faster cook time. Aside from that, the server was super nice and apologetic. I have gone to meat bros, mr bbq and by far Gorilla Grill is right on top. The service is fantastic. I never had to worry about the food. I've been going to this place ever since indoor dining opened up and the first couple times everything was good, service was great. It's always the same guy that served us and he's very attentive and brought out everything we asked for. I felt like I mainly go there for the mashed potatoes and corn cheese, bomb af. I really wish I knew his name cause 5/5 to this guy with glasses giving what he can to service us. So today I came with 2 of my relatives only to brag about the mashed potatoes and we probably had around 3-4 servings per person, it was just really good. I just hated asking for it everytime we finished. However today, we had a new server and we were limited on what we could order the first time before they take it the second time. We usually just order everything first time so once we're done, we're out feeling stuffed and happy. The grill wasn't being cleaned like usual, so the food just came out burnt or too well done, and the beef was just overly chewy. Not that it was packed when we went, it was around 3:30 -4:30pm and it was just a table of 5 and another table of 2 when we sat down, but service was slow, we asked for some things that didn't come so we had to ask another guy that preps the food. He was running around with the appetizers and I'm glad he passed by my table a couple times to give what we asked for. I also did want to warn you guys that there is definitely cross contamination here. The reason why I'm stating this is because they use the same tongs for raw and cooked foods. They got rid of la galbi and clams which was the highlight of the place. Chadol was a tough chew because the meat had no marbling whatsoever. A nice service! I liked their brisket, pork belly, beef belly, Pork Jowl, Galbi...they had seafood BBQ choice including tasty clam, prawn and squid BBQ! Very good! Their Dduk Bok Ki was very good too. Other food including Donkatsu, YookGaeJang Jjigae, Hot noodle soup, ice cold soju, 4-5 draft beers choices including draft beer tower etc. I will have to go back and try this beer tower. Service can be a bit slower since they seem short on staff during this time but the guys hustle as best they can and do nice job of cooking and serving. I came here with my loved ones who haven't had KBBQ before and with the careful attention of the waiters they had a wonderful experience. The waiters assisted us in cooking the meat which I think was amazing especially for my family who was hesitant in cooking their own meat. Its a good ayce restaurant. Not sure what difference cooking on a volcanic stone grill does, but food was good. Didnt know they had bags for your coats until end of dinner. Totally worth asking for it though - helps keep the bbq smell from soaking into it. Staff is completely fluent in korean and english. Only complaint about the place is 2 things - parking (egads, the small strip that passes for their parking lot is on the steepest incline possible) and size of table (the grill takes a good portion of the table). Just be careful where you place your valuables if you have to put it on the table. Food is not overly seasoned so that you cant taste the quality. I was looking forward to trying out this new place but was thoroughly disappointed. I went between 3 and 4 pm and was told that lunch is over and we will be charged dinner price. I was fine with it BUT, there was no dinner buffet. I was told that the chefs are on break before dinner. They did not served the meat and couldn't even serve kimchi. Absolutely not acceptable to charge you dinner price but no dinner dishes except the meat. They should close while kitchen is closed between 4-5. Not going back. Ever. They ripped me off. read more

There's nothing that stands out about this place because all kbbq seems the same to me. the service was okay, there were times were they said they had put in our order but we had to wait for a bit and another waitress had to ask us again lol and it wasn't that busy. overall, i would return but would i pick GG over Cast Iron? ehhh not sure. My husband and I showed up to meet our friend here and weren't given the "tutorial" of how not to burn your leg on the under table grill. Underside of tables will burn you, and are covered with a black towel for "protection". They seemed totally prepared for this problem, brought him ice and aloe gel. It would have been a nice if the manager would have offered some sort of discount on something or possibly a complimentary beverage due to the injury.
